My weird possibly occult related dream before I even came to this board
>be hunting at night
>riding in a truck with big ass lights
>we pull over and the lights go out
>freak the fuck out as we hear rustling nearby
>something runs towards me
>ends up just being a some breed of floppy-eared puppy
>pick puppy up in relief
>see that the dog has a third eye in the middle of it's forehead
>dream ends abruptly

your latent homoerotic craving are fighting with your latent desire to copulate with your mother.
>>17253585
You experience rapid swings from anxiety to relief, either that or there is a specific event which you're unsure as to how it's goingto turn out
either way I'd say you're assuming too much and probably tend to overthink
>>17253585
It means you're gay.
Hey /x/, something really weird has been happening to me, EVERY FUCKING MORNING I wake up, I do my things, I take a shower, and when I'm leaving to go to classes or closing a door (it always happen when I’m closing a door) I wake up and realize I was just dreaming, last Monday it happened twice, it has been happening every day for two weeks now, sometimes I “wake up” in a place I don’t know or a place far away from where I’m really sleeping. Also, every time I go to sleep, even if I sleep only for thirty minutes, I have very lucid dreams, I don't know I'm dreaming, but they are very real, not realistic, but real, they FEEL REAL, just today I slept for 30 minutes and I dreamt about a stray black and white cat and fucking pigeons that when I touched them my hands turned into grey claws, I’m not fucking around guys, what the fuck is happening to me?

Let's wash away the pains of today, yesterday, this week, and hell, our life until now.
Let us now only focus our energy on positive events, relations, and overall good fortune.
Om.
>positive energy thread
>and hell, our life
>hell
What's the best way to go about embracing positive energy/overall aspects of life? I'm a hypochondriac with panic disorder and I'm constantly on the brink of freaking out, nothing ever triggers these episodes they just come as they please. Really starting to take a toll on my mood/health. Even getting high sometimes brings about a panic attack now. Any advice is appreciated.
There is no such things as positive events nor bad events - only events

What scares you, even after all these years?
For me it's this image, years and years after I finally conquered my fears of the darkness, this image always makes my skin crawl.

What did /x/-tier people of the time make of the discovery of Pluto? I am thinking specifically of Crowley.
The question could be taken in a more general direction, vis a vis the history of astrology, etc. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto were all the "planets discovered" in the modern scientific era, so to speak.
They just reassigned some influences and continued postulating bullshit.
someone just sent me this image in my facebook inbox
idk what it means
It means you are as boring as this thread.

I'm a 21 year old going through university who makes their living off of being a medium. Life is pretty okay, flexible hours, good apartment and girlfriend. Roughly 45% of clientele have no supernatural shit going on, so you just make up some mumbo jumbo to satisfy them and put them at ease. The rest, you edge things out to seem peaceful and lay down guide lines for both parties if possible, unless of course there's something particularly violent; in which case I usually recommend to get out of dodge while you can or try to appease the agitated or spoiled spirit. However, something unnatural is starting to happen. I'm starting to experience very vivid interpretations of my own death in different ways every night once I fall asleep. I have an overwhelming since of dread when I'm working, and the spirits all seem a bit more hostile than usual. If I were a client, I'd probably tell myself to see a psychiatrist for anxiety, however, this is not the first time something like this has happened in my family history. Dating back to my great(x3) grandfather's caravan back in Romania, men and women who had disrespected the occult or spiritual realm in my family have either attempted or committed suicide due to visions they've had. Is it really thay wrong for me to lie a little to bring an end to individuals fretting about whether or not their aunt blah blah blah misses them? Or that the dark spirit clinging to them is just slightly temperamental if they don't follow the rules?

It's more like 4 or of 6 have an actual dead family member willing to communicate, 1.6 out of 10 have some residual tied to their living quarters, and a 0.5 out of 10 have something to actually desire me going out to a house about senpai.
Always wanted something spoopy/interesting to happen to me and it never has. Anyone know a good place in Southern Ontario/Michigan/Upstate New York for urban exploration/exhilarating primal terror?
Weird. I was going to post this exact thread

go to the scenic caves in ontario, go into the restricted zone and shit your pants?
You can have a sleep over in the dinosaur wing of the ROM for sone $200, thats pretty spoopy.

Just watched pic related, kinda shit desu senpaitachi. It's loosely based on the Jonestown Massacre..
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonestown
>"Jonestown" was the informal name for the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project formed by the Peoples Temple, an American religious organization under the leadership of Jim Jones, in northwestern Guyana. It became internationally notorious when on November 18, 1978, over 900 people died in the remote commune, at the nearby airstrip in Port Kaituma, and in Georgetown, Guyana's capital city. The name of the settlement became synonymous with the incidents at those locations.
>A total of 909 Americans[1] died in Jonestown, all but two from apparent cyanide poisoning, in an event termed "revolutionary suicide" by Jones and some members on an audio tape of the event and in prior discussions. The poisonings in Jonestown followed the murder of five others by Temple members at Port Kaituma, including United States Congressman Leo Ryan. Four other Temple members died in Georgetown at Jones' command.
>To a certain extent, the actions in Jonestown were viewed as a mass suicide; some sources, including Jonestown survivors, regard the event as a mass murder.[2][3] It was the largest such event in modern history and resulted in the largest single loss of American civilian life in a deliberate act until September 11, 2001.[4] In recent years, the Jonestown massacre has been the subject of several conspiracy theories.
>conspiracy theories.
I can't figure out how he got 909 people to kill themselves. Seems odd to me.
Does any body have any information on this story?
Also, Cult suicides, conspiracies and spoops thread go go go!
Learn about religion and politics and you'll understand how several hundred people can believe in whatever silly bullshit you're trying to sell. Persuasion is pretty great like that.
I'm trying to find this creepy pasta but I can't remember what it's called.
The first part is about a kid that moves to this town and the friends he makes take him to a tree house where they have to say some weird chant before they can go up. They also hear this weird noise from the mountains and it happens every now and then. Then the main kid's sister disappears.
If you know what I'm rambling on about, I'd appreciate it.

I've been curious for some time now why there are so many parallels between early Christianity and other Eastern religions forming around the same time, across the Earth. Lao Tzu for instance, taught about "The Way", this is what Jesus called himself as well as being the name for his early followers. I've even read that some consider Jesus to be an avatar of Vishnu or Buddha.
Does anyone have anything to contribute to this? There's a book I've seen a couple of times about similar sayings between different prophets, I may pick that up and see how much deeper this gets.
>>17249186
What book?
There are no parallels. If anyone convinces you otherwise, then they are brainwashed by New Age nonsense.
Christianity didn't come into being until the time of the Inquisitions, The Jews had control during the Dark Ages, so they stole Aryan philosophy which made its way east and made it into a bastardized form.
I'm writing a concept album having to do with the Flatwoods Monster. Tell me all the folk lore and stories you know about it. Also, post stuff about the Bridgewater Triangle.
>The Bridgewater Triangle refers to an area of about 200 square miles (520 km2) within southeastern Massachusetts in the United States, claimed to be a site of alleged paranormal phenomena, ranging from UFOs to poltergeists and orbs, balls of fire and other spectral phenomena, various "bigfoot" sightings, giant snakes and "thunderbirds", as well as the mutilation of cattle and other livestock.
Has anyone been there? What did you see? It's not far from where I live. The Dover Demon woods aren't to far from here either. Mass is a very spooky state.
Feel free to post about you're favorite folk creature, too.

first learn calculus, then find a power source bigger than the sun.
unless you just want to go forward, then you just need one that's just a bit bigger than humanities total output.

yeeeah, sorry, it looks like you are too innumerate for time travel, you will just have to live with the shitty life choices you've made.
Tried to post this on here earlier and it got posted on /tech/.
Okay, so I just had a very strange dream. Anyone care to help me sort out its meaning?
>be different person
>still male and white but different name, physical features, etc.
>while RL me is in law enforcement, dream me is a low life
>work in a warehouse
>tall skelly dude who giggles to himself a lot offers me a new drug
>I ask him what it's called
>skelly dude says it's called "mindplate" and it'll fuck my shit up
>he hands me a tightly rolled joint
>my head feels fuzzy, but nothing happens
>continue going about warehouse job like nothing happened
>all of a sudden I realize I can move things with my mind
>I freak out
>start showing coworkers
>no one cares
>blonde coworker tell me to stop being such a little bitch
>I think to myself "that's not a normal response, wtf"
>something is wrong
>I feel dizzy
>I feel compelled to say "PULL ME OUT!"
>I feel an invisible hand yank me backwards
>I open my eyes
>I'm still standing with skelly dude, joint in hand
>"told you it'd fuck your shit up"
This whole process of going about working just to notice something was off and yelling "pull me out" to restart where I was with the skelly guy continued over and over for about five or six times before I woke up on my bed in sheets of sweat.
Mindplate, not even once.
Also, what the actual fuck?
>>17252606
It was just a shitty dream.
Yes, you can "wake up" from dreams and still be in a dream. It is just a transition, like flying through a mirror or television set in a dream and the scenery changes, just more mundane. You are worried about nothing.
De-stress your life to a greater degree than ever before. Meditation, creative writing, anything just do something to let your mind out of the cage you have built it.
>>17252606
sounds like the stress of your job is getting to you
Maybe wondering if the grass is greener on the otherside, Mr. LEO?
If you decide to go Breaking Bad about it, just make sure you think up the brand names for your drugs while you're conscious, I don't think MindPlate is going to rouse the interest of avid drug users.
Any idea of this pic meaning?
