The Earth's pole got shifted 90 degrees.
That's why the flood happened since the body of water got displaced.

As for it's colonies it was all over the world, this was the "survivors"

AZbro here. This can kinda be characterized as innadesert thread, but i'd like to focus on a local thing we seem to have out here. southwest az, out from The Yuma Proving Grounds; some of us have seen what is basicly boiled down to a bearman. The handful of sightings that we've collected describes a large non simian furry thing stalking around the hills. There havent been any hostile stories; just sightings and whatnot.
TL;DR, innadesert/local monsters.

So there's supposedly a compendium of mystical/higher knowledge called the Akashic Records, sitting in a higher plane of existence. It's a non-physical place that can only be visited through astral travel or lucid dreaming. The Akashic Records appear differently to every soul who visits. They commonly manifest as a giant library or university - although some have reported it's more like internet browsing by thinking. However you see them, if you're looking for answers, the Akashic record beams them to you in the most suitable format for digestion - here it is, here you go. They hold Godlike omniscience for anyone who seeks to so be enlightened.

I'm thinking of visiting sometime in my out-of-body travels. Has anyone on /x/ ever been?

We're creating a collection of creepy stories for an e-book of sorts. Discuss details about the book here, and if you have spooky stories to share, please post them here. >>14827007

We also need drawfags! Personally, I hope the creator of this pic will join in, but others are welcome to participate too.

Welcome! For starters, you can take a look at some of the concepts on the old thread, it's still up. As for me personally, I think a skeleton/skull or perhaps shadow person would look good. Maybe standing on a dark path like in your pic.

"Established in 2010, “Paranthropology: Journal of Anthropological Approaches to the Paranormal" is a free on-line journal devoted to the promotion of social-scientific approaches to the study of paranormal experiences, beliefs and phenomena in all of their varied guises. The journal aims to foster an interdisciplinary dialogue on issues of the paranormal, so as to move beyond the sceptic vs. advocate impasse which has settled over the current debate, and to open new avenues for enquiry and understanding.

Paranthropology holds no standard position on these issues and all views expressed are those of the each particular author. Paranthropology is devoted to an open-minded and exploratory perspective on a wide range of experiences, beliefs and phenomena often called paranormal, supernatural or anomalous."

Share your experiences with an unidentified creature(s) here.
Here's mine.

>I live in the southern part of Texas on a ranch
>Behind the main house of the ranch is a long rusted white gate blocking the way to a large forest
>On the Ranch we have a few animals
>A few horses, cows, goats, chickens and 2 large dogs.
>During February of this year the dogs would occasionally go crazy at night barking non-stop
>One night I couldn't take it anymore, I grabbed my flashlight went out about 1 am to see what the deal was
>The dogs kept barking in the direction of the gate
>I shined my flashlight over there and the light reflected on an animals eyes
>I assumed it was a wild fox or some other animal and threw a rock in its direction to scare it off
>As the rock hit the metal gate it startled the animal
>the animal had to have been large because it hit the gate and made a loud resonating ping
>I thought I scared it off and went back to bed
>The next night the dogs were barking again
>I thought I'd leave them alone and just ignore them until they stopped.
>I hear noises outside my window
>It wasn't too unusual for one of the chickens to get out at night and rummage through my stuff outside
>I put on my clothes and grab my flashlight and head outside to find that chicken
>Follow noise stealthily around the outside of the house (chickens will start running away if they hear you)
>Shine the flashlight where I heard the noise
>See large doglike hairless creature, snout is a bit longer, tail is hairless, small visible fangs and back has ridges all along its spine protruding out of its back
>My dogs are going batshit crazy
>It's glaring at me and I still have the light on it
>I back up slowly then fucking book it inside
>Didn't sleep until dawn
>From then on always carry a gun when I go outside at night
>Dogs still bark here and there but not as much, I'm sure it keeps coming back.
It does look a bit like the pic I posted, but it didn't have spikes, and its ears were longer.

I live in east Tx and have not seen anything like this.
Maybe a hog with mange?

Either way, i'd patrol with my ar-15 and .45+JHP.
>>
>>14851312
My initial thought when I saw it was that it was a hog.
But after my eyes focused on the light you could see that it was more dog like than hog.

Has anyone on /x/ seen the colossus? I've seen it since I was a little boy, and even up til now I still don't understand what it is.

When I was younger I used to play out in our gardens for hours on end; Digging up worms, trying to catch birds, making mud puddles, everything a normal toddler would do. But, I always saw this large figure in the sky that seemed to watch me. I asked my parents when I was older and they shrugged it off as "A kid with a wild imagination" type of thing; But it was entirely real, and it talked to me. Our first conversations started simple
"hi"
"hello"
"how are you?"
"i'm fine, how are you"
... And it went on like this for hours on end. The colossus seemed to be a gentle creature with no evil plan against, so in time it became my friend.

When I was around eleven years old I mustered enough courage to confront my grandfather, a church priest, about this subject. He just smiled, patted my head and said "It is our lord, God, watching over you and protecting you." As a little kid it made sense; I was strong in the christian faith and I believed it all. Jesus died for me, and god forgave us. He loved us and watched over all of us, etc..
I called it god once in one of our conversations, he said "I am not god, I am the colossus." That was how he got the name. Before I hadn't actually called it anything but sir, but now I knew he had a name.

As I stated in the beginning, has anyone else seen it? Am I the only one, am I just crazy? Or is the colossus some sort of guardian figure that has watched over me my entire life? I have a few short stories from my past I can share which leads me to believe he is a guardian figure.
If anyone has any information about this, please do tell.
