/x/ Long time lurker, first time posting. I don't know how to convince you guys that what i'm saying is the truth but here it is.
Around 6 months ago my mum and I were driving back from Portsmouth on our way to a small town in Hampshire where we live called Petersfield. Anyhow my mum points out the window of the car to a place called Hayling Island, needless to say this place looked eerie as fuck and being into all that shit i thought would be cool to check it out. We drive onto the island over the sole bridge, the only way on and off, here's the weird bit. There was fuck all there an abandoned amusement park, 3 victorian houses on the shore and one corner shop that stood alone before the properties aforementioned. I didn't enter but my mum did, she said the shop itself seemed to look odd like it was left unchanged from the 70s or something even the shop assistant looked odd. On top of this the radio was playing songs like buffalo springfield stop children whats that sound like something out of final destination. We were creeped and we left.
a few months later we made the same journey back from portsmouth and i suggested we go and have another look just for shits and gigs my mum said why not and we returned. hundreds of houses, a supermarket, 5 * hotel. It was a sophisticated modern town.
Anyone have any idea what could of happened there, i've heard stories of life glitches or time loops or wateva, could this be that?
I'm a total new fag and have no idea how to greentext my bad.
Hayling Island has been built up for quite a while (this is a shot from the 70s) and had a population of over 5000 in the 1950s. So I don't think it was a time thing because that doesn't fit the description of the place in the 70s.

Can we get a thread going about exploring, in any form, such as caves, tunnels, buildings, etc etc. I remember a long time ago someone posted a website with a bunch of submissions about such, the creepier and /x/ related the better, if nothing else you can green text it. I've always been fascinated with these types of things. I can post a few stories, but mine are pretty meh to be honest. Feel free to contribute pictures too! Thanks guys

Well, this isn't exactly the case for me but I do remember seeing that movie "Hotel for Dogs" or whatever it was called before it actually came out. I think the ending was also a little different but I remember seeing it years before it actually came out and my friend who I saw it originally with also remembers this.

Hey /x/, /out/sider here; first time on this board, I've finally experienced something I genuinely can't fucking explain, I'm freaking the hell out, and I need some advice here.
So, I'm studying abroad in Segovia, Spain. It's this really awesome city in Castilla y Leon, surrounded by a wall, and it has a huge castle and cathedral.
So, the other kid studying here and I just discovered a really deep cave earlier, behind some brush on the hillside on which the Alcazar is built. Naturally, we went in with just the lights on our fuckin' phones. So, we're walking/crouching/crawling for a solid TEN minutes through this thing; not a ton of spiders, a few fruit bats though. We came to this fork in the cavern, one of which let out on the other side of the hill, looking out over the Iglesia de la Vera Cruz. The other side, and I shit you not, has some kind of fucking mutant in it.
We barely had any light, but this was NOT a person. I'm not trying to sound like a fuckin' nut job, but it reminded me of what people think aliens look like. It had a bulbous head, and sandy-colored skin, pretty long and gangly limbs. It was scrabbling around and opening and closing its eyes and mouth, but didn't make a single damn sound. We freaked out, ran down the other pathway, found out it led to a steep drop looking over the church, and ran back the way we came without bumping into that fucking thing again.
So now we're back at his host family's house, it's the crack of dawn, and we're fucking panicking; should we call the police or paramedics or something? Is there any fucking possible explanation as to what it was?
Here's a picture of the cave entrance, it's the only place bright enough to have taken any shots.
Also, there are tons of caves in the stone here in Segovia; the type of rock forms caverns really easily. We're really freaked out; it wasn't a person, I'm not exaggerating, it's a tall, gangly fuckin' THING with a toothless mouth that kinda looks like a muppet mouth.

I had an experience with one, and shortly after, my brother passed away. I told a select few people about it, and some of them said they had experiences with shadowy figures like mine as well, and I've been trying to find answers about them ever-since. Has anyone else ever had run-ins with these things? And does anyone know anything at all about them?
I'll share my own experiences shortly if anybody is interested. There was one each from my girlfriend, my mother, and my friend's girlfriend.

Here's the first one. This took place a couple months before my brother passed away.
