Do any of you subscribe to a religion? Honestly i don't know much about religions outside of the desert trilogy. I was raised as a southern baptist, but i haven't practiced in about 8 years. Last year my siblings wanted to go to midnight mass on christmas at the university of Notre Dame and i went with. I found the ceremony to be very beautiful. I also really enjoyed the hymns sung in Latin. As a baptist we never practiced rituals other than eating stale crackers and grape juice out of thimble sized plastic cups about 4 times a year.
It just made me think of all the things i don't know.
Ive been thinking of researching "dead" religions. Dead in the same way Latin is a guess. I wanted to start with the druids, but i found that very little is actually known about them and its all hearsay. What drew me to them was it was European in origin and their beliefs were nature oriented (at least that's what i learned through what I've seen on movies and TV).
What are some other belief systems that fit those two criteria?
So do any of you here have a defined set a beliefs or maybe a conglomerate of ideas that doesn't have a set ideology?

I believe there is no such thing as free will. I believe that everything occurs exactly and only as it is possible to occur. From the smallest of quantum mechanical interactions to the grandest scale.
I also believe this extends to consciousness of course as we are obviously governed by the same physical rules as the rest of the universe.
In other words, the fact that i am typing out this post, and that you are reading it - all the only possible outcome of the universe.

I have a shortwave but can never pick up numbers stations. Why?
I usually hear the Cuban numbers stations on my shortwave radio, but on occasion the Russian and Ukrainian numbers stations make it to the U.S.

Thinking of starting an /x/-related comic project to practice my drawing and storytelling abilities. Horror/scifi with some comedy. Right now I'm leaning more towards a loose story line rather than something really complex and plot-heavy, but that may change.
So far the only things I have planned are a few characters, including a bit on the ayy lmao greys as a comedic side story, as well as a general direction/ending, so things are really open-ended right now. Other plans are to include Solomon's demons and sigils in some way, reptilians, astral projection, goatman, and a cult.
What sort of characters or creatures would you be most interested in seeing? What things in general?
I'm thinking at least one major human character, someone to be a face representing /x/ or at least the positive side of /x/. Maybe a foil to that character, or a personification of the negative traits of /x/, too.

I propose that instead of a human, the main character is an alium that posts on /x/. He tries making a "I'm an alien, ask me anything" thread, but the replies are basically "Fuck off, RP-fag" etc. He tries to learn about human society from /x/ and comes to the conclusion that humans are delusional paranoid schizophrenics who believe in magicks, demons, ghosties, pretty much anything. Or even better, he believes everything on /x/ is real and starts becoming paranoid himself.
