Hello, I was hiking down in Tennessee just to get out and get back in touch with nature. I was on vacation at the time and thought it'd be something fun to do to pass the time. I went on far on a trail deep into the woods. And I swear to God I found a stair case, in perfect condition just sitting there. It was made of wood and went up quite a ways. The camera lense on my phone is cracked and I couldn't take a picture unfortunately. I've heard the corpse husband stories about this and I assumed it was bullshit, but I found a set myself. Can someone provide some incite or share some stories about this? Seeing the stairs gave me chills, it was just so completly unordinary. I'm not lying.

I also know of a staircase in the woods, but I'm unaware of this phenomenon. Live in southeast UK, there's staircase quite near the enterance to a small wood. It's not that big and just sort of stops at a bank of dirt. I could get there in like 30 minutes it's right next to a public park.

Now I have a short and simple yet confusing question.
Does a poltergeist/malicious spirit bind itself to a location of distress or a person that summoned it ?
Let's say I attempt to somehow summon or invite a spirit into a building. Would that spirit be attached to me or to the building? Obviously people would become stressed and sad because of paranormal activity and that is what they feed off.

So these things are fake, right?
I mean, all cryptids are probably fake, but in levels of fakeness I'm not sure how you can get much worse than this. Every photo and video of them looks like it's been run through an image processor multiple times. There's no single compelling sighting that seems genuinely unusual, like there is with Bigfoot, just the random reports of Japanese whalers, and it's ALWAYS the fucking Japs, that's suspicious too.
Not to mention ningens as a whole just seem weird in ways most cryptids don't. Most cryptids are either missing links, ancient megafauna that have endured, or explicitly supernatural things. Ningens are just sort of fagging around not being any of them.
Anyway, like I said, all cryptids are probably fake, but these fuckers seem REALLY fake.
They're not a 'natural' being like just regular old animals are, their origins are legit paranormal nonsense. They just happen to live in/around the Arctic and vary greatly in size and shape.

My cousin by marriage once told me that his grandma trained him to manipulate his aura. I am a sensitive, but have no formal training. He told me one part of the training was based upon the concept of whirlpools, flame, and clay. I don't know if there was a fourth since it seems to be following water, fire, and earth, but he only explained the whirlpool training and mentioned the other two. The whirlpool training was this: get in a pool, and make a whirlpool with your hand. Then do it with two hands. Try to make them bigger, and maintain them. Then eventually make one with your leg, too. Eventually your are supposed to maintain four whirlpools indefinitely with all four of your appendages. That was all he told me, and I practiced for two days until something "clicked: in my head. I asked him to look at me, and he was pissed. He was a prideful fellow, and said it took him a few weeks himself on that one. Anyways, he was a kid when he learned, and I was an adult when he taught me so it evens out. He only mentioned something about production for the flame, looking at it flicker, and molding of the clay loosely. He said don't practice one too much without the others or it would make you off balance, but he left town shortly after that and I never saw him again after that summer.
I'm wondering if anyone has ever heard of this particular training method, and if so would they please describe the clay and flame part more in depth. I seemed to intuit it pretty quickly on the first part without him there, even with my intuition, I couldn't quite manifest anything that clicked inside relating the the flame or clay even if I could loosely grasp it. I've googled since then, and everything. Just cannot seem to find this one method that worked so well for me the first time.

He was taught only physical training by the sounds. Training to activate certain meridians without have to have a knowlage of what your actually doing. Its a very good way to tech skeptics, non believers and those who have immense trouble comprehending their energies. One of my personal favorite ways of explaining it all is with gohans words when he teaches vadel about energy (as over the top as everyone's strength is in it there is a lot to be learnt about how energy works from the whole DB series)
Anyway meditation is one of your most powerful assets no matter what your training to do, ( meditate on your breathing) short of that the once you can feel your energy/aura (aura is just your energy field, its more or less an electromagnetic field present in all living beings) creating 'ki' balls is the best way for a begginer to gain a good control, after that let your heart take you down the path that you wish to train

I actually self discovered this concept last week. I can easily do it on command but it requires focus to hold.
Example: i was taking a shit and stumbled across this thread so i figured to change my aura to mimick a positive uplifting. When i left the bathroom and saw j.p morgans face i totally forgot my intentions with the aura and the sensation of positively uplifting vanished.

Hey /x/, I was hoping somebody could share an experience similar to mine. When I was somewhere in the 4th grade, I remember there were a few nights where I'd be laying in my bed trying to sleep, and an eerie yellow light would shine through my window's blinds. I never opened the blinds out of fear to see what the light was, and it would linger for quite some time. There's no way it could've been a passing car, because my window faced my backyard. This happened on at least 2 separate occasions. The memory is a little hazy and I don't remember many of the finer details, but I'm fairly certain I wasn't dreaming. Any sort of explanation for this? I've heard stories about weird glowing lights before, so maybe this isn't too uncommon.

I still experience this. More of a white light that seems to come from a house's sensor one. But every time i look out there are never any lights. And when i get back in bed, it moves away after a while.
Happened when i lived at my mum's, gran's, and current house. Was spoopy to begin with now i'm like "oh, it's that time of the month again".
when i close my eyes i see a pitch black world.. except for the persons in it which are it's only source of luminescence. there are 3 manifestations inside this world each with their own champion(s). cont.
in the center, a statue that speaks reason, telepathically ; around him : a young , black haired women, with a voice that can pierce all others in this world. cont.
to the right, a black apparition filled with grief, sorrow, and righteousness, that continuously tries to influence the statue and its champion. it itself has two champions, one : a warrior covered in blood with black red eyes, and an odd haircut ( a widows peak with two ponytails from each side) who talks in a similar way as the apparition. and two: a very pale lady in her early 30's wearing a velvet like dress .. her particular trait is that she is very well spoken.
On the left, a painting of an obscured angel(you can't tell what it looks like).. it speaks telepathically, but unlike the apparition on the left, it has no grief in its voice, only clarity; like the apparition on the left, it tries to influence the statue and it's champion. it's single champion: a pale blonde haired women who's eyes look as if it has seen several centuries, she rarely speaks but has a motherly quality to her.
Anyone else find use for paranormal detection equipment? Let me start by saying I've never had any sort of psychic ability. But from a young age, I've noticed paranormal events seem attracted to me? My friends always drag me on haunted tours because if I'm there, something is guarenteed to happen. Don't wanna know why, but I do wanna know where and when. My EMF detector is the handiest tool I've ever used. Always use it before moving into a new place. Just wanna know if anyone else is in a similar boat.
I used to have an emf meter for a while. It used a series of lights rather than displaying numbers on a screen like I've seen some use.
I assume it was broken at some point, when tilting it upwards it used to light up a lot.

When Sodium lights get old they overheat and then they start cycling, on for a while, off for a while, over and over again. You don't notice anything odd about a light that is on. You don't notice ones that turn off when you're not there. But if one cycles off while you're near, surprise!, you notice that.
