Some months ago when I was at work, a checkroom, an old lady came up to me to hand me her coat.
I always try to be polite and look people in the eyes, cause you know, the tips are better if you look people in the eyes like you deserve a tip.
Anyway, so this lady comes up to me and greets me.
I look up and for a fravtion of a second I thought I saw a friend of mine who is just 21 years old though.
At first I was clueless why this thought even crossed my mind seeing that old lady but as I looked at her longer I realized she had not only the same eyecolor as my friend, but also the same expression.
It was like she came from the future to say hi, but that's not what I want to allude.
It was like my friend looked at me through the eyes of this old lady.
On top of all of that, that lady looked at me like she knew me for several years already.
I get goosebumps just about thinking about this incident.
Needless to say she also gave me a generous tip.
I know it happens that some people look similiar to each other and that some eyes might have the same expression as others but this wasn't just a similiarity, it was, as I said, like my friend was looking at me through this old lady.
Is there a name for this phenomenon?
I can't imagine being the only one who experienced something like that.
Did you guys experienced something similiar? Do you know where I can find more about this topic, if it's even a topic that is widely known.

Im looking for an article. It was about a timeline shift into an alternate version of the 1980's. It had references to retro new wave music and Royskopp and other artists. It was about the strange feeling of nostalgia people have about the 80's and a bunch of other pretty weird shit. It may have been on Boingboing.net but i couldnt find it when i just checked. Ive been looking for it for years now and Ive never been able to find it.
I was born in October of 1989. So despite not reasonably having any memories of the 80s, thinking about them still gives me a strange sense of nostalgia, like what you described. I'm definitely interested in this. I hope someone can link the article.

I felt a soft sensation on my lips that kissed me awake, yet no one was there. In the past, I also felt sensations on my back, body, and legs. I also had a few sexual experiences that felt terrifyingly realistic.

Saw vision of dragon and night star sky.

I have a sneaking suspicion that our egos are here to not only facilitate between the lower and higher urges, but are also here to keep traumas experienced on this level relatively minimum (through building emotional barriers and defense mechanisms and all that jazz). /x/ I have a question for you. Have any of you had a "static" dream? Like your dream kind of ends in a static picture like my pic in the op? The past few years I occasionally get these weird dreams where its completely random but it ends in static. Also I want to add that I usually feel a weird tingly sensation behind my eyes or in my forehead when I try to wake up from the dream. I legitimately feel myself struggling to open my eyes during these dreams and when I finally wake up I hear slight buzzing in my ears. It fades after a few seconds though. To be honest it scares the shit out of me. Have any of you experienced something similar?
I should mention that when my eyes are in the process of opening, my eyelids twitch like crazy thus making them difficult to open. It feels good to be honest.

has anyone had any actual, verifiable experience with what appears to be supernatural activity?
when i was a kid, i used to have my room in my parent's basement, and on rainy nights in the spring i used to hear distinct footsteps descending down the stairs.
one of the doors immediately outside my room would frequently blow open with a thud.
i also distinctly remember hearing something walking into my room, and i'd be startled but looking at the hallway there would be nothing.
probably the final confirmation came when my family was showing pictures of a house to our relatives.
there was one picture of our bathroom, located in the basement. anyway, my great grandaunt was known to be a village medium of sorts.
after seeing it she immediately pointed out there was a man standing in one of the mirrors.
as someone who otherwise looks for rational explanations for all phenomena and likes to play the fedora'd agnostic during family gatherings, thinking back to this stuff I really don't know what to make of it.
As Richard Dawkins says, our brains run fairly advanced software that can make memories that never happened seem real, or can make us believe we're seeing something that isn't there. under the right circumstances.
i mostly don't even think about it, it hasn't made me "convinced": of the paranormal, but thinking back to it, it seems like it was so real, i remember it so clearly, part of me wants to believe I can't fool myself that much.

Así que escribiré en español, hace unos años, exactamente en 2013 trabaje con amigos en un proyecto de caza fantasmas o algo así en el cual nos adentrábamos a propiedades abandonadas cementerios y lugares donde ocurrieron desgracias, nunca vimos nada que pudiera causar miedo en el momento pero un 4 de octublre cuando revisaba las grabaciones de lo que se conoce como puente moreno en saltillo mexico hubo un grito en uno de los vídeos, era claro y fuerte, el problema es que no lo escuchamos en el momento y de 4 cámaras solo 2 lo registraron

Nope, no lo creo en el 72 hubo un accidente muy fuerte en ese lugar, por lo cual fuimos, en facebook aun hay una pagina ¨paranormal saltillo¨ en esa pagina debe estar el vídeo con el audio de ambas cámaras aun.
