Alright, /x/, buckle up. This is going to be a long one, but I need you guys.
Long time lurker, first time poster here. I've always believed in the supernatural, but had never actually seen anything to prove my belief. All this has changed.

I am absolutely fascinated with space. That involves the creepy and unsettling things that could happen. I'm obsessed with these space stories and can't get enough of them. If you've got any good ones, I'd love to hear them.

In 1976, Cosmonaut Nikolai Peckmann was sent alone to an orbiting space station for what would be called Mission Six- to study the radiation levels and strange circumstances that killed all four crewmen of the last research mission.
By the third day, Peckmann's broken transmissions were coming back to ground control filled with increasing paranoia and delusion. He claimed that the spirits of the dead cosmonauts were coming to claim him, and that he had to keep moving to evade them. He shouted that if he could capture consume these spirits himself while he still had strength, he could move to the next level of consciousness...Truly the rantings of an insane man.
Indeed, video recovered later would show Peckmann running around the confined but maze-like station, downing emergency sedatives like a madman....pausing in a corner momentarily, only to throw back vitamin pills and give chase to his invisible demons.
He had exhausted the entire cargo of vitamins, pills, and fresh fruit well ahead of schedule. There was no way another crew could be assembled to rescue him before he starved. After one rather violently garbled transmission, the static cleared and the last live image on record is that of Peckmann's empty, wilted spacesuit on the cabin floor.
It was determined that another mission to recover any remains or gather any more research would be a waste of the people's money, and the station was allowed to drift out of orbit and into space- a failure never to be mentioned again. It was ordered and assumed that all video and paper evidence had been destroyed.
..then, at the dawn of the eighties, a fledgling arcade game company called NAMCO would stumble across the transcripts of these events, and the rest -as they say- is history.

Hello /x/, I lurk here from time to time. Mostly stick to /pol/ though.
I'll cut to the point: what the fuck are Chakras and can opening them make me more powerful than I can possibly imagine? I always hear stuff, like from that Spirit Science stuff about "Chakras" and "Sexual Energy"; what I want to know is does any of that stuff translate directly into being able to defend western civilization from barbarians?

what you want to do is get your hands on a ouija board, like pic related, and follow these steps
the most important thing is to believe, without belief nothing will happen
take the board to a quiet place, preferably at night, your bedroom works but a graveyard or similar is optimal because you're going to be communicating with spirits, and what better location for that than a graveyard?
make sure you're pissed off when you're using it, think of jews or something - this is to attract the more powerful spirits whose energy you'll be harnessing. having some drugs or alcohol before using it will also allow you to connect with them better. being alone is also a good idea, so that there's nobody else that might distract you or try to harness the spirit power for themselves.
when you're ready, sit down and place the board on your knees, and put your fingers lightly on the pointer. wait for it to start moving, it might take a bit.
some good signs are:
>the pointer counts down through numbers or letters
>the pointer moves to each corner of the board
>the pointer moves in figure eights
>the pointer falls to the ground
ask the spirit what your name is so you know it's real, and then any questions that you want, spirits normally have interesting information about God, and your death
when you're ready to receive the spirit's power for yourself, leave the board with the pointer on top at the ground, and go to sleep next to it, it helps if you leave a hand on it but isn't necessary. when you wake up, burn the board to banish the now powerless spirit.

Is ectoplasm real? I've recently had strange sticky goo appearing in my house, usually somewhere where I am not looking for one second and then appearing there. It's happened twice in as many weeks, once appearing beside my keyboard while I was on my computer, and just now it appeared on my thumb after I put my hand behind my ear. Is something strange going on?

Anyone have any strange experiences with them? I have some strange happenings, but nothing conclusive or interesting.
After I threw one out of the car window when I was a child, I never wanted anything to do with my Furby (Furbie? Furbee?). It seemed to follow me around the house, always on the floor by corners of walls or furniture. The internal battery was long fried, yet the creature still blinked and made...noises. For a while I even had nightmares of the little deformed thing.

my wife had a morning shift, so I got up with her, we did shit for about an hour before she had to go. I went back to sleep for a few hours, and i woke up at one point face down in the pillow. I could hear the distinctive noise of somebody walking around the kitchen. My first thought was that I had somehow slept the whole 8 hours she was at work, but when I tried to get up I couldn't. I remember really straining just to move but I couldn't, it was a little freaky but eventually I fell asleep.
When I properly woke up later it was pretty obvious it was a lucid dream.

A while ago I came into possession of an old newsletter (circa 1844) that on the back had a story about a group of people who went out in Illinois and saw a light in the sky spell out the number 1-8-6-0. What could this mean? Did anything big paranormal happen in 1860? Are there other similar events you know of?
