I'm 23 now, and I've still yet to explain it. when I was younger I would chalk it up to my brother experimenting With psychedelics and putting some shit in our beer, but upon more thought that's pretty unlikely looking back
any ideas /x/philes?
You were drunk.
>>17916644
but we weren't. as I said in the post, we only had a beer or so each. also I'm not sure if you've ever had beer before, but this is not how alcohol affects you.
OP got fucking blowdarted in his local park<
What are these things on Mars? Been browsing Mars and I've came across these things in craters, no idea if it is just localized to one region but I get creepy vibes from them, could be structures of some kind since they look pretty large or it could be some hardened volcanic deposit.
/x/'s thoughts?
Parrots done it

Look for a good paranormal documentary to watch. Something recent preferably and not a TV show. Any suggestions?

>The Miracle of the Sun (Portuguese: O Milagre do Sol) was an event which occurred just after midday on Sunday 13 October 1917, reportedly attended by some 30,000 to 100,000 people who were gathered near Fátima, Portugal. Several newspaper reporters were in attendance and they took testimony from many people who claimed to have witnessed extraordinary solar activity.
>According to these reports, the event lasted approximately ten minutes. The three children (Lúcia dos Santos, Jacinta Marto and Francisco Marto) who originally claimed to have seen Our Lady of Fátima also reported seeing a panorama of visions, including those of Jesus, Our Lady of Sorrows, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, and of Saint Joseph blessing the people.[1]
>The event was officially accepted as a miracle by the Roman Catholic Church on 13 October 1930. On 13 October 1951, the papal legate, Cardinal Tedeschini, told the million people gathered at Fátima that on 30 October, 31 October, 1 November, and 8 November 1950, Pope Pius XII himself witnessed the miracle of the sun from the Vatican gardens.[2][3]

Let's talk about things like this one, lads.
Good God, Ok we can talk about this, but please learn how to green text properly first.
All i know about this is that when I was in elementary school, we had to watch a video about this every time October 13th came around.

Don't tell me what to do. I'll green text Ur mom.
I read about it in a book. that was the most mysterious and cryptic book I had. It had events listed about this, Pharaoh's curse and electric people. I wish I could find that book but I've looked everywhere and I cannot find it.
Does anyone know the origins of this picture? I can't find it on google search.

there was a video of it moving but cant find it anywhere now
when I was a child, so about 10-15 years ago, I had a dream I was being attacked by a large bird that was ripping at my flesh on the right side of my waist - just below my ribs - with it;s claws and beak. it was a very very vivid dream.
however when i woke up, I had a sharp pain where the bird was ripping me apart in my dream and I couldn't stop convulsing, it felt like the bird had crawled inside my flesh and was living inside me. now I would just put that down to sleep paralysis even though I was sleeping on my side.
But the thing is, I still feel the pain in my side, and i get the sensation something is grabbing me and ripping at my skin and it just randomly hits me during the day and when this happens I'm overcome with feelings of uneasiness. it's been over 10 years and I still get this and I'm trying to figure out what it could be. it feels like that bird is inside my abdomen moving around and it's honestly freaking me out? ???

i guess, the problem is that I still feel it even now and I'm not dreaming or sleeping
Are you Prometheus?
Are there any other tv shows or movies that people think exist but really don't (Or tv shows/movies which people remember seeing but can never track down)?
An example is a zombie film called "Dead End" which was supposedly made in 1985 but is apparently a hoax
http://obscurityandbeyond.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/lost-movie-detective-dead-end-1985.html
Carpenter's film "Cigarette Burns" was -about- a mysterious film that may or may not have existed in the film's world ( see image ). I know that's not exactly what you asked for, but well, there it is anyway.
>>17916198
Cheers I will check it out
I remembered the film discussed in House of Leaves called (I recall) "The Navidson Records" as an actual movie due to getting so engrossed in the book. For about five minutes anyway.
Octahedron might have been the wrong word.
This is the shape I mean.

>the education level of people posting on /x/
Haven't been to /x/ in a while, maybe time limits changed or something. Does anyone know why my thread, which I started last night, suddenly just disappeared from the board? It was newer than most things currently on the board and was getting semi-steady replies. Only had about 30. I've seen threads last days on /x/ with less.
>>17915842
How are we supposed to know if you don't say what the thread was?
But anyway, the mods are dickheads
>>17915845
I forgot to mention that. I was taking questions about Satanism. Is that a violation of some unseen rule on this board? I don't remember anything like that.
Probably because Laveyan satanism is pretty much seen as edgy atheism. I have LaVey's entire works on my shelf and I can tell you that apart from trying to piss off christians, the only thing 'paranormal' he talks about is masturbating in graveyards to become a werewolf.
He was a trickster and a good speaker but not paranormal.
/x/, I've been having Déjà vu more frequently and with more intensity recently, what's going on? Am I being spooked?
Haven't we already had this thread?
Google synchronicity and see if its more in line with what you're experiencing. We're getting it more too.

What's this symbol, /x/? It's on an incense burner I found.
That symbol is that of a Indian Hindu god. Lord Ganesha.

Hey so my Mum told me this story:
My family comes from Latvia (next to Russia) and my Mum, Aunt and Uncle had a baby sitter named Matra, she lived down the road and looked after the children a lot as Gran and Grandad had to work a lot. Matra who was 19 grew very close to my Mum, uncle and aunty.
One day she disappeared and she was never heard of again. Gran told the police yet they did very little about it (during the beginning of the war)
Anyway the Matra mystery was never solved and my family moved to Australia when the war got ugly.
20 or so years later my Mum, Aunty, and Gran did a Ouija board session and called out to see if any spirits were with them.
'Matra' was spelt out.
They instantly knew it was the young Matra who disappeared
Mum loved Matra and was overcome with happiness to hear from her
Gran asked what happened to her
'Dead' was spelt back
all shocked my aunt asked how did she die
'poison' was spelt back
At this time they all felt a overwhelming emotion of sadness and oppression
My Gran asked who had poisoned her, they didn't get answer for a while yet -
'Juris' was spelt out
My Gran then asked the spirit of Matra to leave quickly, she got up and locked herself in her room for two days.
Juris was my Grans brother

Okay, first, pity you used the eponymous "ben drowned" pic for this story.
Second, it's not very compelling. I mean, I'll take this to be true. At it's surface, grown ups are playing a Ouija board and they aren't even doing it right. You can't ask how someone died. And then there's no atmosphere in your description.
On that point, third, if you are going to set this in Latvia, sell Latvia. The war, many people disappearing for political reasons. The forests, deep, some of the oldest in the word, dark forests where the landscape tricks your eyes and ravines might be a step away, and human remains have been found scattered with human teeth marks on the bones. The war messed that whole area up, man. Sell it or lose it.
Finally, encapsulating all my comments, this is /x/. Don't spare the details.
>>17915629
Im from Latvia.
This is creepy story, can imagine what pain your family feels.
Wasnt her name Marta?
Is this real deal /x/ or another faked photo by idiots that got nothing else to do?

Sorry uploaded the wrong pic, go to the link anyway.
Even if it's faked it's pretty neat looking. Good find OP. Better than another "I AM A SKINDIDDLER ASK ME ABOUT MY ASSNIPPLES" thread.
