Do you guys have any scary stories from Ireland?

Bíodh lá maith agat!

What's the story with The Beatles and their mysterious music. Was it just too much LSD or do you guys think there was something evil. I have no clue, I really was never into The Beatles that much, but obviously I know who they are as they are very popular.

Here is the video that got me curious. IDK why they even bothered making this; played forward it isn't even really music. Just abnormal sounds

The story? They were a mediocre pop rock act that teenage girls loved the fuck out of. Then one day they decided to imitate Frank Zappa, who was a much more talented musician than all of the Beatles combined. This proved highly successful for them, and they are to this day credited for being geniuses, while Frank Zappa remained mostly unknown to the mainstream.

Frank Zappa's did stuff on his own terms. Seems to be one of the only great rock musicians without any ties to the occult. Am I right or have I just missed something?

Is there an afterlife? What's the evidence for and against the existence of an afterlife? How can you and why do you believe or not believe in an afterlife?

For those of you who believe, what is the afterlife? Where is it? Is it governed by a God or Gods? What are the general dynamics of the afterlife?

Would you be so kind as to provide your viewpoints or answers to the questions you asked? Or do you just want to see anons fighting over beliefs?
>>
>>17912967
Have to agree with the other guy. The way you phrased your post, you're just going to get fedora tippers, Christ-fags, and people saying vague, unhelpful things like "If you believe, you'll see it was there all along."

I assume that when you die your consciousness ceases to exist. Much like before you were born.

I've never seen any convincing proof otherwise.

Freaky but Small thing just happened to me earlier.

>>17911845
You're saying you had to close the toilet a second time AFTER you took your clothes off it. How were your clothes on top of an open toilet? I highly doubt you meant they were on the tank because the way your wrote it implies you didn't notice it being mysteriously open until you removed your clothes.

This is either a poorly thought out RP or a poorly written experience:/ can you explain it a little better please?
>>
>>17911901
Okay so I closed the lid WITH my clothing still on, and as I was taking my clothing off to put them on the toilet the lid was open so I re closed it.

Tired of this art bell shit. Going to make my own podcast. Want to talk to real people who had real weird things happen to them. I need a few things though. Need theme music. You will be credited. Also need topics. So,

I live in New England and have a recording of an unidentified creature that my friend and I encounter hiking. It sounds like a cross between a frog/bird/electrical arc. Could also supply background/cut sequence music since another anon posted theme already. What's your email?

Seems like a real webm to me. It's easy to tell if they're fake, they don't open up a media player, it just makes the picture bigger. Be on the look out for people trying to trick you with fake webm's . It's a common tactic for trolls.

New-ager book. Basically it describes the origins of the universe, earth and humanity.

Welcome to Divination General!

Come here for readings and discussion of theory/practice.

Every method is welcome: Tarot, Runes, Cartomancy, Scrying, Pendulum, Oracle cards, I-Ching, Tasseomancy, etc.

>Some useful tips before posting:
New readers should post that they're offering readings and what information they require from a querent.
Look for their posts in the thread to determine what's needed and before posting, check if they finished reading already.

Some readers will refuse to do certain readings -- respect that choice. Also, bulshit queries will get bulshit answers.

An "air query" can be made to no one in particular, but no one in particular may answer!

>Readers and Querents:
Please, respect each other, let's keep things decent here.

This new format is a dramatic improvement over the cluttered mess we had before. Nicely done.
>>
I'd like to open up a topic for discussion. I would like to talk about the role of the diviner's ego vs the querent's ego vs absence of ego.

But, to get this more attention, let's use one of the most common queries here: next boyfriend/girlfriend. The general common consensus seems to be that the reading will point out, not an absolute (ie, they /shall/ be together), but rather a possibility. Some might phrase this as “your next opportunity” or something along those lines.

The question, then, becomes of what defines something as an opportunity? Theoretically, someone with infinite charm and attractiveness could have infinite opportunities. Which one is the one that is seen? How is the threshold of opportunity defined? Is it merely that the other person likes the querent sufficiently to accede, or is that they are sufficiently compatible to get to the dating stage if both accede?

This brings me to the original question, which I feel is more interesting: that of ego. Have you ever been set up with someone by a family member or friend? How closely did the person with whom you were set up line up with your tastes, rather than the tastes or ideas of the person who set you up?

If we consider the reader, in this case, to be a matchmaker of sorts, does the person predicted for the querent match up with the querent's tastes and notions of love, or that of the reader? If, for example, the reader might consider the two to make a good couple, would that be enough for the reader to see for the querent someone completely against the querent's tastes?

This, of course, explains why several readers refuse to do love readings: they are too colored by their perceptions and notions of love. Perhaps this is the case with all readers? Are the readers matching you up with someone you actually like, or someone they would like for you?

What are your thoughts, /div/?

So I've read some stuff about couple of satanic cults and societies, Order of 9 Angles and the good old meme Anton LaVey satanic church whatever. Are there any actual good reads regarding this topic? I do understand this is mostly for the edgy fuccbois, yet it still captures my interest.

Websites, pdfs etc.are welcome.

I don't know if this helps at all, but this was on another post. http://www.henrymakow.com/how_well_do_you_know.html

sounds bias though, but maybe a reason you don't here about them much is because the ones today like to keep things to themselves.
