Weird shit you remember from being a kid.
We've all seen the posts about creepy things kids say, but what are some things you've said, done or thought that looking back as an adult seem weird to you?
I can remember being probably 3-4 years old and thinking with no fear whatsoever, about killing myself to get to heaven. I remember looking at the knives in the kitchen and just thinking "yeah, why wouldn't I want to die? Heaven is awesome"
Other than that, I can also remember a theory I had that since we all have the power to create and destroy life, that we all must be God. The Bible says God created us in his image and we create babies in our image so we must be.
Just a lot of weird, philosophical ideas that shouldn't be knocking around inside the mind of a child.
Were you ever a weird kid?

I constantly thought about how easy it was to kill family, pets, friends etc but obviously never went through with it. Always thought about ways I could do it. Don't think like that anymore though.
>>17001044
I've always thought God is all of our collective consciousness combined.

There is one though I can't/don't have time to search for it but it goes like this
>/k/ goes into the woods for keks & shit
>They're a small group, maybe 10 persons max
>All armed to the teeth
>They're walking around in the woods /k/ommando style
>Typical jerkish goatman bullshit occurs
>Noises, voices, more people than they should etc
>Their leader spot the goatman in the group and the fucker start running and giggling
>Fucking mad as balls /k/ommando leader fucking sprint after it yelling the full marine pasta at the top of his lungs
>Narrator and group try to follow but they lose sight contact
>They still keep up because braindead leader is still fucking yelling
>They hear some struggle and catch up
>The absolute madman is on top of the goatman keeping him pinned with arm/leglocks
>They end up breaking both its arms and legs and going home while the thing is wailing in pain
If anyone has the story it would be much appreciated

Does any one else get these intense auguries from mundane activities like drinking tea, shower water dripping of your body, etc?
was Joan Rivers right about what she said about the current Prez and First Lady?
Hey! Good afternoon!
Hey /x/. Looking to read about the Qlippoth. Any books exploring the idea of these forces? Thanks!

C'mon, OP, it's obvious you drew that yourself.
What does it mean that I keep seeing the number 66 everywhere for the last three months?
>I'll look at my phone randomly, 66% battery life.
>I'll look at a thread on 4chan, 66 replies
>I'll buy something at the gas station, change is 66 cents
>I'll turn on a basketball game, on team's score is 66
>I'll check the temperature, it's 66 degrees
So on and so forth. Anything that involves numbers, it invariably comes up for me as 66.
That is just straight on fucked up, mate.

And I see 911 often. What the fuck?
The Aokigagara Forest in Japon, is a place where a lot of people tend to go when they are thinking of suicide. Does any one an explanation to this? Why do they choose the same spot? Is something based on tradition, or the place is hounted, or something?
An american tourist discovered it and told the locals "that forest is awesome to get really high and just hang"
Sadly they didnt understand american slang.
>>16999957
It's not cool to make jokes about suicide. Kindly go kill yourself.

It looks like some Japs are well hung after all.
So when I stayed at a friends house a couple of nights ago some crazy shit happened. We were sleeping in his room and before he fell alseep he told me weird shit has been happening lately, his little brother has been seeing people and he would have these terrible sleep paralasis dreams. I couldnt fall asleep so i watched some tv until i heard fireworks go off, its no where near the 4th of july or any other holiday. They would have been close fireworks because i could feel the vibrations in my feet, i went to look out his window and i didnt see any. So i walked to his wall and the vibrations got louder and so did the booming noise. I put my hands on the walls and it felt like something was knside the walls. I stepped outside his room and it sounded like it was in the closet, so i put my hands on the closet door and everything stopped... it stopped for about three seconds until a huge bang hit the door, right on the door. It made me jump so bad that i almost fell back on my ass and i ran back to his room and jumped in bed next to him like a scared kid. That was the last bang i heard that night. A few nights ago he got his house cleansed and he says everything has been fine. Has any paranormal things, involving "the unknowable" happen to anyone else?

Now think about all the stuff Aliens mined out bra.......
So what's so special about this book?
>Was finished in one night..
>cannot be translated at all
>secrets of the universe
>monarchy show interested in it
What else can we say about? It really have the date of the ww3?
>>16999378
>was finished in one night
this is pretty amazing on its own. as a calligrapher, writing a whole bible in one night sounds impossible, as that would be a years-long endeavour for one writer, especially considering how physically large the book is.
>can't be deciphered
...codex gigas is written in Latin, its contents being the Vulgate bible + a few other things that are written in Latin.
I think you're confusing gigas for the voynich manuscript.
>secrets of the universe
again, sounds like you're confusing it for voynich, which is a mystery.
>monarchy
well, it was a huge bible with several useful texts in its appedecies.
a book that big would have production costs in the equivalent of billions of dollars. of course monarchs would want such a status symbol.
>>16999424
>voynich manuscript.
i personally think it's gibberish because the guy was a book dealer.
>>16999378
>Was finished in one night..
If its the book pictured, then that's total bullshit. You might as well say the book was written in one hour, it's equally as unbelievable.

This image contains some text, encrypt it (SHA-256) and append that to bit.do. This leads to: http://web.archive.org/web/20150610041730/http://a.pomf.se/oczwkc.png
This image contains a painting of Blaise de Vigenère, and the word FOREST.
We think that the solution is encrypted with the Vigenère Cipher, and FOREST is the key.

Zoologists hunting Tazmanian tiger declare 'no doubt' species still alive
A team of investigators from the Centre for Fortean Zoology is currently in Tasmania hunting down clues to prove the thylacine still exists. The group claims to have gathered compelling evidence of the thylacine’s presence in remote parts of Tazmania’s north-west, despite the last known animal dying in captivity in September of 1936.
The investigators said they has spoken to several “highly credible” witnesses of the thylacine, and had found animal feces that could belong to the beast. The droppings have been preserved in alcohol and are being sent away for DNA analysis.
“The area is so damn remote," Said Richard Freeman, zoological director of the organisation. "There are so many prey species, and we have so many reliable witnesses who know the bush, that I’d say there is a reasonable population of them left.”

Huge hoard of 4,000 Roman coins unearthed
Thought to date back 1,700 years, the cache of coins, Weighing around 15kg(33lb), was found after a Swiss farmer noticed something shining inside a molehill in his cherry orchard. When archaeologists excavated the site they were surprised to discover that the coins were in remarkably good condition for their age. Some of the coins dated as far back as the rule of Emperor Aurelian in AD 274 while others were from the time of Emperor Maximian who ruled Rome from AD 286 to AD 305.

Scientists create cyborg roses
Scientists have created a kind of cyborg flower: living roses with tiny electronic circuits threaded through their vascular systems. The brainchild of researchers at Linkoping University in Sweden, the peculiar cyberplants were created through the introduction of tiny electronic polymers which then self-assemble within the plants. The strange cyberplants could one day make it possible to tell flowers when to bloom to avoid an impending frost, or when to put out hormones to prevent a drought.

Obama says UFOs aren’t ‘as top secret as you’d think’
On Monday, November 17, GQ Magazine published an interview with President Barack Obama, conducted by on-air sports personality Bill Simmons. During the interview, Simmons asks, “Have you ever said, ‘Give me the JFK-assassination files, I want to read them. Give me all the secret stuff’?”
The President responds, "I gotta tell you, it’s a little disappointing. People always ask me about Roswell and the aliens and UFOs, and it turns out the stuff going on that’s top secret isn’t nearly as exciting as you expect. In this day and age, it’s not as top secret as you’d think." Unfortunately, there is no follow up or further elaboration on these comments in the GQ interview.
