Remember this movie /x/? It's one of the most underrated films I've ever seen. Always has me on the edge of my seat. Can somebody who is well-read on the subject explain what the symbols on Detective Loki's hands mean? He also carries a Masonic Ring which is pretty self-explanatory but the tattoos are still confusing to me.
Also looking for similar movies to this one if you have it.

The detective also has another tattoo on his neck which I believe is the Star of Ishtar. Also, what are your opinions on the movie in general? I liked that it played a lot on the occult aspects and that it was very much like a symbol of the battle between the individual and the institutions.

when i lay in bed, sometimes i think about the fact that i, as a being, am stuck in the eternity of time.
even if life, feelings, persception and thoughts end with your life, the thought of neverending non-existence scares me. it's really the only thought that makes me panic and doesn't let me sleep for a while till i forget it.
does somebody else have this?
and another question: are there any good movies about this topic?
the only thing i remember is one of the Hellraiser films where, in the end of the movie the main protagonist gets stuck in a neverending circle where he wakes up at a spot and if he dies, he wakes up again at the same spot for eternity. this is the worst kind of hell in my opinion.

So what would happen if we all started using Solar energy and stored up a ton of DC energy? Like, one spot of the the globe was havesting much more energy than other portions? I mean this would have to be a far greater draw from the sun, enough to potentially replace fossil fuels and enough energy to feed the power grids as opposed to mechanical means.
