Greetings /x/. After having spent some times with friends from central Africa (Congo, Cameroon, Ivory Coast...) and read some books after culture and beliefs, it appears that christianity hasn't been very successful in destroying ancient beliefs, and notably animism and "black witchcraft".
As I understand it (you're more than welcome to correct me on this), it is believed that one can communicate with the dead and obtain wisdom and luck through witchcraft. A lot of power can be obtained from being able to see and comprehend this underworld where spirits, gods and ghosts cohabit, but the part that mostly interest me is the objects that are crafted to create a link between our world and this one. Mainly, The "gri-gris", often wooden carved amulets, are lucky charm, that one can wear to get protection or luck, and I was wondering about the process of crafting one.
So, /x/, how would you go about creating an artifact of yours, supposedly bringing you luck ? The concept is not Africa-exclusive, and I believe the mostly american community might have some knowledge on native crafts of the kind
I like to carve small totem heads after moments of extreme sadness or trauma. Once I took a large dose of dmt bearing seed snuff that I made and had a Fucking mental break down. I carved a totem the next day to calm down and center my thoughts. While I wascarving I cut my thumb and the blood ran down the face of the wooden face in a way that looked like it was crying. It was a very powerful moment for me. I wear this necklace everyday as a protection totem and a reminder that I should pay more respect to that which I don't understand. Also you know don't just snort something all Willy nilly like a Fucking child. But yeah that's my experience
Also I would say that your "charm" or what have you holds more significance when it is truly personal. Something that comes from within.

You pick something that symbolizes what you want and then do something that primes it to do that. It may be placebo, but thankfully the placebo effect works even when you know it's a placebo.
Let's say you want a ring that will help you pick up girls (+2 charisma). You take a ring that looks like something James Bond would wear. Place it in alcohol, something the kind of girl you like would drink. Read aloud to it the entire text of a romance novel that would suit the kind of girl you like (maybe 50 Shades of Grey, maybe Twilight, maybe Jane Eyre, maybe something Danielle Steel). If you can't read the whole text in one sitting (which is likely), drink the alcohol and remove the ring from your mouth with the hand it will be worn upon. Resume at another time using the same kind of alcohol. Do not place the ring on your finger again until you've finished.
>dog barking during middle of night
>go outside
>nothing is there, but it's barking at the corner of the fence
>go outside fence
>nothing there
>go back inside and hit dog, tell it to shut-up
>go back to bed
>dog starts barking again
>lose my shit and hit the dog too hard
>it's not moving

I think I got too spooked. Please help do I just hide it or what?

I know it's mexican but even if you don`t speak spanish it`s understandable. It tells the story of a family who moves to a new house and throws a party, but then they found a door that leads to a hallway to some other dimension. The ending it's weird but the presence gives me the creeps.

ITT, methods on mind control, and how it can be accomplished. In my opinion, mind control can be accomplished through sexual manipulation and setting attention-values towards certain individuals, or even perhaps forms of guilt-tripping.
Basically, how do you make some one become obsessed with you? How do you become there god? How do you get them to obey your every command?
Discuss.
>>17765511
Your post is all over the place. You'll never master mind control with this much disclarity.
>make some one become obsessed with you
Any number of ways. Everyone's different. Pander to the person and you can more or less manufacture love.
>become their god
You don't want or need to be. Mind control doesn't have anything to do with claims of divinity. Getting someone to believe you're (a) god is trivial and very unrelated.
>get them to obey your every command
You can't. You barely even understand the concept.

anyone who has done drugs daily knows that the effects greatly diminish with daily use and eventually gets incorporated into the users lifestyle.
Some people need this drug. It is unwise and outright foolish to ban a plant with this many health benefits.
Hey /x/, anybody have any idea what the fuck this is?

"The Ring" (American Version)
I think Insidious is pg13. And the Conjuring. Them shits were cray.
Redpill me on King Solomon.
What did he do?
Why do they say that he controlled demons?
Why is he associated with grimoires?
What is so important about his temple?
BTW, I already tried googling, but no website is clear and there are many contradictions
Google harder.
>and shove your redpill up your ass
>>17764831
I only know about the "controlling demons" bit. God supposedly hacked reality and turned Solomon's Wisdom score way fucking high, and he apparently figured out how to control demons.
According to some stories, he pokemon'd 72 nasty and powerful demons, and crammed them all into a jar and tossed it to the bottom of the lake. At some point, some people fished it out (on accident or purpose, idr), opened it, and released them again.
Those demons are known as Goetia, and are a popular choice for occultists to try and summon. It's probably a bunch of horse shit, but that's the gist of what I've got. Keys of Solomon are the names of the books this comes from I think. Haven't bothered to research their credibility. For all I know it could be fanfiction written about him after the fact..
Also, google harder.

>pokemon'd
>hacked reality
you could not have made reading this anymore enjoyable haha
Hey guys, I have a few questions. Those were probably asked a thousand times, but I can't find answers in both sticky and libraries, sooo
1) if magick exists, why isnt it popular? Why doesnt everybody use it?
2) as a christian, istn't it heresy? i am a bit lost now, and would like to see if this stuff really works
3) are there any famous people using magick?
4) what can protect me if something goes wrong? i have a lot of christian symbols in my room, as well as holy water. My room is blessed every year by an priest (i dont know if this is a habit in other countries)
Sorry if those questions are stupid, I am really lost in this moment, and wish to get some answers.
It's an illusion
>>17764703
Right, just as life/happines/whatever is an illusion. Accurate answer.
>Sorry if those questions are stupid
Apology accepted anon. Just don't do it again.
redpill me on gnosticism, /x/. i'm familiar with the basic concept of the demiurge but that's about the extent of any knowledge i have.
where should i start to get a basic knowledge?
Gnostic philosophy only has partial truth. Read the Bhagavad Gita to truly understand the relationship between God, man, and the material world.
>>17764610
gnosticism is "knowing"
the act of sex-making
find enlightenment=orgasm
you're probably already a practitioner
you just uploaded a sign of two men making love
>>17764610
It seems there is a great deal of confusion as to what gnosticism actually refers to, or there are many ideologies and histories that term encompasses. Wade through all of the Wikipedia articles dedicated to gnosticism, gnosis, the Plemora, the demiurge, etc., but understand that you really need to have a solid understanding of the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Christian Church and the traditional relationship between man and God to see the over-arching themes coming from gnosticism.
From what I understand, gnosticism is an ideology born of Christianity that portrays the relationship between man, creator and the one true God in a way much different than traditional thought. Gnosticism accepts scripture as context relevant to our human condition, but doesn't necessarily accept the Bible as the unaltered word of God. The Nag Hammadi library is a bunch of old texts that was found in 1945 buried in a pot in Egypt. The texts are relevant to biblical scripture and basically paint this picture of the Pleroma, how the Demiurge was created and how we are connected to the one true God through Sophia, the mother of the Demiurge. Gnostics see the creation story much differently than most abrahamic religions; Eve is a manifestation of Sophia and the serpent in the garden is basically sent by the one true God to help Adam receive the knowledge of good and evil so that he may break free from the bonds of his creator and this physical world. The story of the Garden of Eden is the first efforts of the one true God to give humans the ability to save themselves. The story of Christ is the one true God manifesting as man to give humans salvation from this physical world and access to eternal life.
It's really quite interesting, especially if you come from a Christian background.
What's the best way to astral project? The furthest I ever got was experiencing vibrations and it wasn't easy.
I'm a firm believer that astral projection is just very, very vivid lucid dreaming. HOWEVER, that doesn't negate the fact that it is extremely fun.
I don't know too much about astral projection techniques, but from what I read the WILD(Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming) method is very similar to the techniques used for AP.
I've had a lot of success with the WILD technique, but only when I would wake up in the middle of the night and try it as I was falling asleep. It has lead to some lucid dreams that only be vaguely described as seeming more lucid than everyday life.
Whether it's AP or Lucid Dreaming is irrelevant in my eyes; it's an amazing experience once you are able to pull it off and recall it to near perfection.
Also, I noticed you mentioned vibrations. Yeah, I get those with the WILD technique as well; you just have to keep practicing on staying calm so you don't excite yourself so much you wake back up.
>>17764547
That was it but you neeed to be patient and have like an objective in mind.
>>17764547
This is the one that worked for me
>Stay in bed, take 15 minutes to relax and meditate
>Lay down on your bed and try to get totally relaxed.
>Relax as much as possible, don't think about anything. You must focus on relaxing every part and inch of your body.
> Once you are totally relaxed, try to blank your mind. Don't think about anything else. You must be relaxed and any kind of thought shouldn't be allowed. Blank your mind, focus on that
>Once is cleared, try to imagine your body and how it looks from the view of a 3rd person. Imagine every part of your body individually, totally detailed.
>Once is done, project yourself a certain part of your body and how it is disposed. Like your arm or hand for example
>Focus on that part of your body, like your hand, focus on your hand, imagine every inch of it, every piece of skin, hair, nails, imagine how it is accommodated at that exact moment, imagine it just like you were watching it with your own eyes, in total detailing.
>Then order yourself to move a finger- be advised- it has to be with the power of your mind, any kind of muscular innervation means faillure. You have to move it with the bare power of meditation. Do you remember the wiggle your big toe scene from kill bill?, well, like that.
>Once you accomplish that goal, move foward, do the same thing with your hand. Move your hand in total concentration.
>When you have done that, Move all your arms, if done correctly, do it with your other arm.
>Move your legs up, try to leave behind your body.
>Probably after this, you should be in an astral projection.
It is possible that you start to shake. Don't fear.
Withes and Magic not wiccan bullshit but that stereo typical magic that we think of when we hear witches or magic. personal experiences even?
>>17764392
your pic related shows what everyone would call wizardry/sorcery. Witchcraft is much more natural. It's not what you'd commonly call magic (alchemy, rituals, etc). Also I can't confirm any of it.
I really doubt it. Even excluding all the cheap book-store crap it seems ridiculous to me.
I am strangely interested in it though. Maybe it is just an atmospheric thing that appeals to some people. Maybe there are placebo/meditation effects that you can get from any other religion. I always wanted to date someone who really believed it because it is intriguing to me, but all the Wiccan women I met were crazy.
>>17764422
Being magic and not crazy means that you have to help crazies.
It's just as big of a chore as dating a crazy.
Honestly you should pick up magic yourself.
Chicks dig a guy who's into such things.
Plus you can use it to get her to do nearly anything, as long as you add a "Water, fire, air, and dirt"
I'm for sure a witch, because I can't not be a witch, ever.
If they aren't like the above, then they are just masking mental illness as "wicca"
But if she knows herbs, you have no idea how fun it can be to "fly" in the bedroom.
