Here on /x/, we read all these stories about different paranormal experiences, and some of them may be fake or creepy pasta or something. But what are the odds that out of thousands of stories, there are a few that are true and there are some things out there that we (nor science) cannot fully understand? Stories that cannot be explained fascinate me, and I want to know and maybe someday explore what's out there.

Doesn't that take the fun out of the whole "paranormal" thing? Say we finally discovered Atlantis or found a dead sasquatch, they're be no more mystery. Campfire stories and legends are quite interesting O.P. but they're just that, stories. I think that's why the dark web has gotten so popular lately because there are actual fucked up and unsettling things on there and that's why everyone has flocked to it. I'll get off my soap box now.

There are plenty of books on the subject of magick out there that provide spells and ways to use them.
Stephen Flowers is an author that's copied down other texts like the Greek Magickal Papyri and put them into an annotated book with history, cultural remarks, and etc.

For the last coupke of years I have been having dreams, of a sort which seem lifelike and 'real'. In these dreams I go to a place that is rolling hills in a valley.
There are inhabitants of course, but at first they were animals, and the first time I can remember being there I was there with others. We saught refuge in an indentation in the valley wall, and were surprised to find that the animals we saw could talk. They didn't seem malicious, only helpful.
It was strange, as it wasnt one of thos quick dreams, i can remember feeling like i had been there for DAYS. And over time i notice all of us were starting to become more animalistic and aggressive.
I noticed we were turning into animals.
I cant really remember much as this was a while ago, but somehow i managed to get free.
Now, i don't know if it was just the leader or all of the inhabitants before us, but I can tell you for sure the leader ((what seemed to be a butterfly)) was a matriarchial faery of some sort.
-Side note: they had a ritual sacrifice every month or 30 years where a random one of them would be devoured((it was their only form of sustenance))-
I don't know why, but that place became somewhere that i frequently returned to in dreams, each time learning a little more and getting out easier. I am pretty sure they stopped giving a shit about me since they pay me no mind when i appear now. ((They thought human was delicious i think because they got excited when one showed up near a "feast" night too soon to go through the change.))
I believe this place to possibly be a place out of time, or one of the many connections to the universal subconscious theorized by Karl Jung. I have had a lot of other 'psychic' experiences, and this one is just too uncanny and similar to them to be a normal dream, as im a dumbass with no attention to detail i couldnt possibly create a world like that and keep it exactly the same each time.
Your mind is.. fully awake when you are asleep. Capable of more. Jumbo shrimp and so forth.

I have heard voices and seen things. Lots of voices, they sound out subliminal messages and read my subconscious.
I experience that people are watching me and speaking with me using words with double meanings. They know everything I do and they are always watching me to make sure I don't take "the wrong path". I think they have a special plan selected for me.
Sometimes I see the shadows of people, and sometimes I see things turn into shadowy people.
They don't seem to hurt or scare me (as long as I am careful of them) but they do seem very hostile.
They are most hostile when I remember.

I've been learning about hermetics and esoterica for a short while and was wondering... can someone explain to me how in a unified perspective there is no black and white? I mean it is just really hard to understand the concept of no good and evil, especially if you have subscribe to some form or morals. Where does this perspective put the Golden Rule? I'm especially interested in the perspective from Christian Alchemists and Alchemists who prefer to work in the darker realm. I'll be back and forth from the computer while cooking dinner.

Salutations anon, an welcome to the fascinating world of alchemy and hermeticism! I've been reading the written material for quite some time now and it never ceases to amaze me. I still haven't fully decoded the mystery, but I have made great progress. Many say they have, but watch out for scammers and deluded people. In particular watch out for modern occultists who try to attribute modern ideas to the ancient texts.
Now as to your question it sounds like modern occultism to me. There was no question of relativizing morals to the ancient alchemists, specially the Christian ones, for which prayer and holiness were prerequisites for the great work. But if I'm wrong please rephrase your question.
Drop modern occultists and start again from the beginning, from Hermes, and work your way up to Raymond Lull and Paracelsus. Keep in mind that Pernety was the last bona fide westerner to write about alchemy until the advent of the traditionalist school (Evola and Burckhardt have written good books on the subject with the least amount of concoction).

Be also cautious not to discard all modern work simply because it is modern and not ancient.

While this is very true, and you should be mindful of your sources, what is more important is to be mindful of their message.
To adress your primary concern about a unified perspective not containing a black and white, you are refering to the hermetic principle of polarity and its ramifications on morality and ethics.
The takeaway here is that there are "black" and "white" however they are idealized and conceptual poles on the scale of grey. Any individual point on that scale is going to have a hard time telling where it is in relation to anything else. This is especially true in absolute scales like 'good' and 'evil' where essentially the scale is an infinite set.
Without hard and defined polarity, basically every act can be seen as either "more good" or "more evil" than another act based on the viewpoint of the observer.
Hermetic thought is saying that in order to have a truly unified perspective, you need to be aware of that fact since focusing on one, or the other polarity will blind you to your position.
You need to see the whole scale.
To me, this has little effect on the golden rule since the golden rule states that you should treat others the way you wish to be treated. No matter where you are within the infinite set then, this will bring people towards your position.
Hermetic alchemy would probably ammend the golden rule to say instead "You will tend to be treated by others, as you have treated them" you are moving their vibrations towards your own position in the infinite set.

This works both ways and you should be mindful of that... since while this may work to make people "more evil" than you, behave "more good" to you... It can also bring people who are "more good" than you, down in vibration to your position. So be mindful still of how you treat others, AND how others are treating you, so that you do not permit your own position to change from where you want to be.
