I want to know how to get abducted, and know if there are good aliens that can help you in life, whether it be by making you rich and powerful, making you immortal, giving you the cure for cancer, solving world hunger, solving infertility, influencing government decisions, etc
So I had a powerful dream recently, and I can't get it out of my head. I was in a dark, woody, foggy area, but I was like a disembodied consciousness observing what was happening.
A sort of metal statue, akin to an angel with its wings spread out (but very otherwordly) was rising from the earth, while an eerie singing came in its wake. I kept feeling like something apocalyptic was going to happen, either to me or to the world, like my body was being taken over. I later woke up in sleep paralysis (couldn't move, everything was shaking and there was a dreadful ringing in my ears and a sense of impending doom).
Does it mean something? Also general weird dreams thread.

any Hoosiers here with tips on good places to explore near Indianapolis?
I'm looking for haunted spots or interesting sites. preferably something I can just drive to and explore at night without buying a ticket. This state is so fucking boring, but I've seen and felt so much weird stuff in the short time I've lived here. I just don't know where to go or what's worth seeing.

i come from new england and there's no short supply of interesting spots
you can't drive more than a few miles without seeing something weird and most of it is wide open to be explored
when I lived in the Midwest I enjoyed driving around and getting lost in quiet neighborhoods, imagining what sort of horror might be behind those shutters. and once in a while I'd drive by a "church" that just didn't seem right
but it really required a good imagination. the scariest thing is that you might get shot for accidentally crossing someone's property line
