/x/ I really need your help. My brother, who is a self proclaimed wicken, has gone missing. We grew up in a non religious house, so when high school rolled around, my brother decided he could fit in with a group if he became a Gothic, "I don't give a shit" kind of kid. Even after high school he's still practicing dark magic and rituals. Look, I don't come to this board often and I don't even know if you guys can help me, but he told me a few days ago that he was planning on doing something big, he was going into the woods to summon some sort of demon or spirit but I'm not sure. It's been 3 days since I've seen him. We've filed a police report but they havent found anything. Im going into the woods later to search for him. Is there anything I should bring? When I was younger I had an interest in mysticism and joined an occult society. I've wanted to disavow myself from it for many reasons. When I tried doing this in every way possible, the sensations of energy passing in and out of my body won't leave, i feel sensations particularly around my nostrils consistent with having done serious meditation , but my root chakra at the base of my spine feels depleted like i have been unplugged from an electrical socket and need to recharge. I don't know what to do besides doing more yoga or reiki or something, but i don't have a lot of money to pay for this kind of thing and i'm concerned ethically that it wouldn't be right for me to do considering the problems i am having now. so i had decided to try belonging to a christian church hoping to have some charismatic experiences, after approaching priests they deny that issues like this exist. i guess i am just bitching but i don't know what i should do for myself. i'd be willing to join up with a new religion provided they are interested in academic publications, are honest, and acknowledge my experiences, but i feel like that is impossible .

The only times I've made stuff happen was when I wasn't trying. Not that I weren't doing anything, I was just not in the mental state of trying to do it.
The few things I've done always corresponded with some need of mine and the absolute certainty that I could do the thing because I needed to. No rituals, spells or sigil work, just pure need and certainty.
One of the things I've done was heal a female friend of mine in an emergency. She had some gastro-intestinal thing where if she didn't get medicine at regular intervals, she could get a fit and ultimately die if something wasn't done about it rather quickly.
We were far from her home where her meds were and she was kind of panicking. I looked at her and said "I can do something, but it's gonna feel strange and I won't be able to explain it afterwards". She reluctantly agreed to let me help and I placed my hands on her stomach and thought "Leave!".
Her fit stopped and she looked at me like I just parked my spaceship in her back yard and were asking her for sugar.
We didn't talk to each other much after that since she was a devout catholic and kind of miffed at me for performing what she perceived to be witchcraft on her.
I've got a few more situations similar to that in nature.
Why don't I have an answer to what life is about? It makes my life really fucking turbulent and I have a difficult time accepting no answer to that question. It makes me feel really depressed so I'll try something to keep myself busy- but that only lasts a few weeks until the mundane routine of it all sets forth a different kind of depression. Why is this abnormal? People tell me to go to a doctor but I don't like meds- i'm really sensitive to them. Why don't normal people think that it's so confusing and weird and life should be thought about constantly until we can reach an answer? Is my life more intense than their lives? Why do I NEED meaning in my life as where someone else is just happy, or at the least content with the idea of life? They don't fucking know the answers either but they don't care!! Why?!!! Maybe this is because I'm afraid of dying- I don't know if I'm fulfilling my life purpose on earth and I can't just fucking die without knowing. This kills me. I'm frequently suicidal as well because I just want to know once and for all what life is about. But how stupid would that be? I'd waste a good thing for truth. But then the truth IS the most important thing!!! I don't know what to do anymore.

Well, if i told you the answer right now, would you be happy? What would a life be like, knowing the answer? I tell you what it feels like: Empty. The answer to what is our purpose is looking for the answer. As soon as it is answered, nothing matters anymore.
But why do we make the effort to try and find it then?
Well, their are many cool feelings which this earth has to offer, but the coolest feeling available is actually understanding, and being mindblown.
You probabbly know this feeling, when the plottwist of some mindfuck movie hit you hard.
Immagine what it would feel like, to understand the universe in one ultra complex thought chain, immagine what it would feel like, having answered everything, espacially if in the end it was a huge shift you did not expect at all. It would blow your mind.
The universe is not about the answer, it is about making it; the biggest question, in order for us, the life in it, to find the biggest answer to it. It is not about the answer. Both Question and answer are merely rhethorical. It is about the journey and what you feel going through it.
Study different philosophical literature, study the universe, but most importantly study yourself, your own pyche. (Meditation, Psychedelics, Conetemplation, usw.) You will find your answer there, presented in the way you should find it, so that you can go through the journey like you are supposed to. You sure wont find the answer on 4chan. Those who talk don't know; those who know don't talk.

I was thinking the other day that if Earth ever became part of some larger community of inhabited planets, surely our eclipses would be a huge tourist draw. How many other places in the universe could possibly boast an orbiting object that, from the surface, is almost precisely the size of the sun, providing such a clear coronal eclipse?
And then I began thinking...we've got at least 7 other full planets, running in range from an almost-star gas giant like Jupiter to a hard-baked little rock like Mercury, not to mention all the dwarf planets we likely have. We've got this nice, big, asteroid field, mostly separate from other neighboring bodies. We've got plentiful comets (granted, that one probably isn't all that rare.)
Heck, right here on the Earth's surface we've got such a lovely, distinct variety, right down to having a big, round landmass situated around one pole and a big, round ocean on the other.
It's almost like we just happened to show up in the tutorial level, if learning about the cosmos was a game. Just seems...odd.

Most of you sometimes if not often stay awake for a long time; I imagine also many of you have tried going on without sleep for two or more days. I have never gone on longer for two and a half days but I distinctly remember during the final hours before sleep at one of those instances I started imagining things and seeing stuff out of the corner of my eye.
I remember seeing a serpent twice, once quickly crawling under my bed during those aforementioned hours, the other case was after abruptly waking from very short sleep and seeing it crawl in my closet. Needless to say, I was spooked out of my mind both times.

This happened to me once on vacation in chicago. I was in town for a family emergency. And after two and a half days of no sleeping I was waiting in my hotels lobby and I remember looking at the ceiling and all the designs started to calidescoping.
5 days, went nuts.

I've been awake for three days straight a couple of times before and I always see a strange mask out of the corner of my eye at times, peeking through the doorway. It looks native, similar to Vancouver inukshuks. It's always smiling however. Just plain old creepy.

Just moved to Sweden a few weeks ago, I don't know a huge amount about the place but I know it has a pretty long history of spiritualism etc,

I know they celebrate Midsomer which is somewhat bastardised now and is more of an excuse to drink and eat, but they still practice a weird kind of ritual that I presume is related to fertility as they make a penis shaped tree and dance around it.
Also I've been to a few viking burial mounds in Sweden and Norway, not sure of any spiritual connection though.

I have a question? How do you deal with a manin black? Basically I have a place that I live in where essentially I saw a moving van across the street acrost from me. It was suspicious because, it wasnt a normal U-Haul but was bassically like a yellow Ryder van like the Oaklahoma city bomber van
Basically it just showed up one day and after it left, a small sattelite dish appeared on the house. Shortly after that, a survey-lance limozine was parked out side. Essentially I noticed that the limo would usually dissapear for 8-10 hour intervals and return. Basically the person driving it was essentially always dressed up in a suit, nnot normally like a normal person would would be like, like in cargo sweats with a vee-neck or something. He also seemed kind of off because basically he was always out more on the week-ends and essentially didn't stay home onweek-ends like a normal person would and watch like soccer and basically relax like a normal person.

I am the OP and I am basically continuing here because of a limit or essentially some limt.
Basically it kind of made me more concerned essentially when I went to work one day and some guy in a suit walked into the car wash I am the manger at and I noticed that it was bassically the same guy. I tried too make normal conversatioon and basically tried to feel out wheter he was a normal person or essentially some goverment FBI/FDA/CDC type, but basically he just seemed really wierd when I asked if he wanted to come over and watch ancient aliens with me. Basically I think he realised that I was on to him so he just said he was busy that night and had a lot of people to pick up. Essentially that made me afraid he was going to pick me up t oand abduct me but I basically decided that I should just bored my windows up and only go out during the day time to prevent an undercover night raid by the FBI/CDC/DOT roaid or something. Essentially, I just want to know if anyone has any similar experieances or techniquies to basiccally get this guy off my back. I already decided to try and cloak my online interactions and essentially remain anonymous that so he way he that way can't detect my aactivities basically and arrest me. Bassically does anyone have any sugquestions? Basically the picture is kind of what the limozine looks like. I didn't want to take an actualy picture essentially so that they cannot back trace the image to my ip.
