Tired of all the bullshit occult threads dominating /x/. Here's something that still bothers me
>have work in the morning so I set an alarm for 6am
>place my phone on the nightstand, shut off the light and wrap myself up in a cocoon of blankets
>dose off and my phone starts going off
>I knew there was no way it was already time to get up for work so I reach my hand toward my phone on the nightstand to turn off my alarm
>As I'm reaching over, I feel my fingers run through something that feels like hair
>my heart was beating so hard I thought it was going to come out of my chest
>I jumped out of bed so quick and bolted toward my light
>Flipped it on and there was nothing in my room
>I figured I must have imagined it
>I walk over to my phone to shut it off and as I look down at my phone, there are two strands of dark hair intertwined in my fingers (I'm blonde)
I'd never been so fucking scared in my life. I still don't know who or what was 2 inches from my face that night.
Damn that sounds terrifying op.
Here's mine:
>walking through orchard with old friend and eating the apples off of trees like idiot teenagers
>it begins becoming dark but we're still fucking around
>it starts to get reaaaally dark and we've been screwing around with farmers equipment in a shed up on a hill towards the back
>we decide to call it a night around midnight and head home
>walking back and as we see about to hit road, we froze in place
>suddenly we both started faintly hearing my name being called out in the distance
>this is weird because I have a fairly unique/uncommon name
>we stood there, listening to it grow slightly louder.
>because we both had pocket knives, we decided to go investigate together like idiots
>the voice grew quieter as we approached the hill
>by now we were both very confident in ourselves and were practically jeering
>until we reached the shed
>dead, ringing silence
>there was a fucking body slumped over the roof of the shed
>exact hoodie my friend was wearing
>we both bolted, but in different directions. I ended up on a trail leading to a lake and he managed to find his way to the road
>I calmed myself down after finding myself behind a house and next to a church
>managed to head home and realized I had been running for a whole hour, so said my friend who got home and showered.
Couldn't sleep that night. I tend to tuck this memory away any time I start to remember. The body was just too real looking. Pretty sure it scarred me
God's work, anon. We need more of these.
I share a room with my brother
>sleeping in hot room cause old shit house has no a/c
>struggle to sleep because hot as fuck
>feel my brother blowing air on me
>tell him to fucking stop cause his breathe smells like shit and is hot
>doesn't stop
>finally get mad and yell "stop you faggot!"
>swing at him
>literally hit nothing
>parents bust into room because I yelled loudly and woke them up
>see that my little brother ran in right after them
> what jpeg
>look around and realize my brother wasn't even in the room
>nope the fuck outta my room and sleep in the living room
I don't what the fuck it was but I swear I wasn't dreaming that shit
Ego is that which thinks the current true thing is truer than the last true thing. In this way, what is obviously true is pushed to the back of the mind and dismissed as "obvious" before it has been fully reflected upon. Not a word of this teaching goes by but it can't be dismissed by someone too busy to reflect on it.

Science has proven that dragons are a scientific possibility, and many have even taken the position that dragons actually walked beside the dinosaurs before Humanity came onto the scene. And I have my own personal theory that there are probably some living on another planet countless lightyears away. What do you think about them, /x/? Also, post some shit that claims they're still kicking.
holy fuck please let this be true
OP, did you watch that Discovery Channel program about dragons?
You know that was a mockumentary, right? It wasn't real.

Hey, posting this as a creepy story, and also an inquiry for some information. I've had three experiences of knocks in the middle of the night in my life that I've written off as unexplainable, until recently.
I browse /x/ on a regular basis, but never felt compelled to post anything until I stumbled across a typical "unexplainable experiences" thread a month or so ago. In said thread someone posted an incident very similar to mine, where in the dead of night they heard three loud, distinct knocks on their third story window. I was very interested because an anon replied "Do you live in Florida?" And after the original poster confirmed he did, the anon basically just said, yeah that makes sense, like it's a perfectly normal occurance here. I asked if he had any more information, but got no response, and eventually the thread 404'd.
I basically forgot about it until a couple weeks ago when browsing the paranormal board on Reddit, (I know, but let's be honest, this board sucks sometimes) there was a post about a guy from Florida who kept getting woken up by three knocks on his window. So now I definitely believe there is something to this, and would like more information from anyone who knows why this paranormal occurrence is such a common thing in Florida.
I will post my stories separately to keep this original post short. Thank you.
Stop Aggravating it
Alright, first story.
I was twelve, making my little brother nine. We shared a room as my family has always been relatively broke, and I have quite a few siblings. The room was on the second floor. We had two twin sized beds, his being directly against the far wall under the window, and mine on the other side of the room. We had school in the morning, and it was about midnight, so I turned the T.V. off, and rolled over to try and sleep.
About five minutes go by, and out of nowhere we hear five fast, very urgent ,fast-paced knocks. My brother freaks the hell out, naturally, and I try to calm him down, saying it was probably just a bird or something. I knew it wasn't, as there was no ledge on the outside, and while we did have bamboo trees surrounding the back patio, they were a good 15 feet from our window.
So he calms down a bit, and just as we're drifting off we hear three very loud, very intentional bangs on the window. He runs to my parents room, and I shine the mag-light I had in my drawer outside and all around the property, and of course nothing is there.
My brother slept in the hallway for a couple nights too afraid to sleep in the room, but I switched our beds so I was on the window side, and no knocking in that house happened afterwards.
Don't get me wrong, that house was hella haunted and a bunch of other shit happened, but that's unrelated.
Next story on my lunch break.

Let's get a childhood scary story thread started

>neighbors are going in trip for about a week
>ask me to water their lawn and tomatoes for money every other day
>say yes and water the next day
>first day I walk in and fill up the watering can and water the tomatoes
>glance at sliding glass door but the blinds are all blocking the glass
>glance away and water the lawn and go home
>2 days later I come back and notice that the cement is wet in the back yard
>that is weird because it was the middle of July and was really hot in the afternoon (it was around 6 at the time)
>glance at the sliding glass door and notice one of the blinds is crooked as if someone pelled it to the side to look out the window
>weirded out and try to water tomatoes but the hose wouldn't spray out any water
>walk to the otherside of the house and find another water spricket without hose
>start filling up watering can and I glance at a window and in the darkness I saw a face
>I picked up the can and dumped the water onto the tomatoes and ran
>didn't tell neighbors or mom

Welcome to the /x/ OC thread. In this thread we will post original content made by anons like you. All sorts of content is accepted ranging from /x/ based podcast to 2 sentence horror. Any art or text you have to contribute is accepted here. X-tan art is accepted and appreciated.
>Purpose; To get some content circulating around /x/ that isn't the same stuff you see everyday and to get users who wish to share their talents a bit more active.
>The focus of todays thread is /x/ appreciation.
>What's your favorite /x/ related thing? (Anything from pastas to pictures)
What is it that brought you to /x/ and what is it that keeps bringing you back?
I knew I would lure you out of hiding eventually. Either that, or this is just a big coincidence.
Either way, welcome back. How's the comic going?

Okay. I took a break from drawing for a few days to get away from paranormal stuff, but I ended up watching a bunch of horror and stuff. Guess you can't ever really escape once your in.
I'm gonna post some pages I've done for the introduction of part two soon. Without thinking I ended up falling into some of my old artistic habits, so the art is a little bit sloppier than I'd prefer. I'm making an artistic transition at the moment and it's a little rough but hopefully I'll be in the swing of things soon and I'll start experimenting with this new style soon after.

To get things started question wise I'll answer a few myself.
>What is you're favorite /x/ related thing?
One thing I really like about this place is the long pastas and people's 'real' encounters with the supernatural. I really like when it's a l;lengthy story that gets really exciting and has the whole thread jumping in anticipation.
>What is it that brought you here?
I can't entirely remember at the moment but I'll get back to it.
>What keeps me coming back?
Well I really appreciate the community that /x/ has. I've seen some changes over the years and /x/ has really grown on me. Also science fiction and horror has always been an interest in my life. Movies and books have always been great passions of mine and adding in themes that I already love has always helped hold my interest in the subject. Because of that I've always wanted to give back to the thing that gave me so much inspiration.
Anyone have any good creepy stories from your school? Don't have to based on fact, maybe its an old legend or some weird kid that went to it. Anything as long it involves the school you went to.
Mind doesn't have much. It was built in the 50s though.
>Late 70s/Early 80s
>Kid in the musical (My high school's famous for putting on good ones)
>He's one of the leads and is great at it
>Totals his parents car
>One year later
>Driving his parents new car
>Goes over train tracks (There's a lot in my town that are still used today)
>Car stops for some reason, won't start again
>Train starts coming
>People try to get him out of the car
>Refuses as he doesn't want to total his parents' car AGAIN
>Tries to start
>It doesn't and the train runs him over, killing him
>To this day, he is said to haunt the auditiorum at my school
>Haven't seen a ghost, but my friends have said they've heard people whisper to them and can't find out who
>There's also graffiti in a place no one can get to that says "(Dude's Name) Live!!!"
There was also a hanging suicide in the aud in the 60s because the person didn't get the lead in the musical. They also supposedly haunt the stage too. Both of these stories were told to me, so I don't know if they're real ot not (I have seen the graffiti though). Again, my high school is famous for its musical program, and I was in it, which is were I heard these stories.
There were at least two people I know of who have died in my old high school. One kid fell (or got pushed, I don't remember which) down a flight of stairs and broke his neck, and there was a woodshop teacher who had a heart attack yelling at a kid for fucking around with a saw or something.
I was involved in a lot of after-school stuff (musical, band, chorus, and we even had a TV studio that broadcasted the school's sports and concerts to the town Wednesday nights), and spent a good amount of time walking around that place at night. I don't think I ever saw any spoops outright, but the place had an eerie vibe at night, and I'd sometimes hear faint knocking on doors to classrooms that were locked and empty, or see some slivers of light that shouldn't be there (like when going to turn the lights on in the dark auditorium). Even the teachers that spent time at school in the evenings (my chorus teacher and the guy in charge of the TV studio, specifically) said they've seen and heard shit in that school.
The biggest stories I've heard there were from the TV Studio teacher's kids. Both of these (allegedly) happened to his daughter. One time she was alone in the studio's control room at the end of the night, and one of the tape players began to play. She heard her grandfather's voice (he was the man who first set up the studio) and the voice started talking to her.
>>17841395
The second story I believe happened when she was in junior high or early high school. People had always walked around the school on Wednesday nights during broadcasts (to get snacks from the vending machines, order pizza, get stuff from our lockers, work on the auditorium stage, etc.) but our TV Studio teacher always wanted us to go in pairs or groups (not that any of us didn't anyway, that place was spoopy as fuck). Apparently, his daughter once started hearing noises and voices coming from the planetarium, with the door unlocked and open. Apparently she looked in and saw some shit (I don't know what; her brother who was telling me the story didn't elaborate, possibly because she didn't tell him). I'm assuming she saw some apparitions, possibly of her grandfather. Needless to say, nobody fucking walked around that place alone at night.
tl;dr: spoopy school where people died; I was there a lot at night and caught glimpses of shit and heard faint noises; girl who also spent a lot of time there (claimed to have) heard and saw spoops firsthand.

Cool stories dude. I actually always wished me and a couple of friends could've sleep over at my high school at night to see how it was at night (The latest I stayed was 8:30).
Did anyone's schools have lock-ins, or is that only in movies/tv shows?
Hey /x/ i never normally get involved with paranormal shit. but ive been having some strange thoughts about dead body cleaners. how do they live? i get vivid visions of there life i see a third person view of them and there on some crazy drugs and are dizzy walking in to the crime scene to clean up the body i imagine some really slow paced vaporwave sounding music and theres like blue and pink flares everywhere and they just go in and clean the bodies i dont know why but i was in a car crash and we was out on the main road around 2 in the morning and i got the vision really clearly
i dont know why ive shared this i guess i just got alot of time on my hand

ITT we post and discuss conspiracy theories. Any and all are welcome.
The strained relationship between Israelis and Palestinians understandably fosters paranoia. So it’s not surprising to learn that conspiracy theories about Israeli involvement in Gaza abound. What might be surprising, however, is the form some of these theories take—like the one about Israel feeding Viagra to Palestinian schoolgirls. In 2009, a Palestinian man alerted the authorities when his teenage daughter started, how shall we put this, acting like an adolescent just discovering her sexuality. The authorities traced the source of the complaint to a stick of gum allegedly bought across the border and decided that Israel was attempting to corrupt the territory’s youth with sex-drive boosting sweets. In other words, it was paranoid claptrap on an epic scale, yet some still continue to believe that Israel spends thousands of dollars each year with no other objective than to make schoolgirls horny.
John Kerry is married to Teresa Heinz, part of the family controlling Heinz ketchup. John Kerry negotiated a deal with Iran that was strongly opposed by Israel. Soon after, Israel forced Heinz to stop labeling their product as "ketchup." They had to use the label "tomato seasoning." This puts Heinz at a competitive disadvantage in Israel, lowering profits, stock prices, and in turn, John and Teresa Kerry's net worth.

"Quick follow up to this. The number of decimal places displayed for each candidate is three, not two. The number of decimal places in the total for the candidates is two.
The observant will note that the percentages shown in JResultClient work this way as well. The percents are shown with two decimal places, while the total is 100.0.
The reason it works like this is for esoteric statistical reasons. 12.23 might actually be 12.234, and 12.24 might be 12.237. When you sum a list of floating point numbers, the sum has one less decimal place of significance than the elements. Or just trust me -- I didn't like stats in school any more than you did.
The number of decimal places should all be configurable, but weighted races are really just a one-shot thing for Sacramento right now. When we get more weighted customers, this will be enhanced.
Ken"
