Did Ed and Lorraine Warren really fight demons and other shit like that ? Are their stories true to some extent?
I believe that they fully believed in what they did. Seems like a lot of their big cases were probably inflated to sell books. Overall, I'd say that in their own way they probably did help the people that came to them.

Hi there. I've recently been made aware a spirit(s) has been stuck with me since I was a young child. Even before I knew about it, it has been abusing me both physically and mentally and I want it to leave.
I have tried asking Jesus to remove the spirit. I told the spirt to go away and to not talk to me but it keeps affecting me. It told me to pray to Satan. I also commanded it to leave in the name of Jesus but that didn't work.
Because of all the stuff it has done, I have grown up in social isolation and making feeble, doomed attempts to make friends and meet women. It prevents me from being able to achieve what I want in life.
I'll post the stuff it does to me.

Don't assume that just because Christ isn't helping you right now the way you want is because he has abandoned you. Hi there. I've recently been made aware that spirits affect us in all things we do, non-stop. I believe I have a spirit that has stuck with me since I was a young child and I want it to leave.
I am wondering if there is any way to remove all spirits. Both good and bad spirits, so that I can be myself.
I also want to be protected from being affected by any new or other spirits that attempt to affect me.
I don't want to be obliged to do or believe anything in exchange for this (and still be able to determine my afterlife).
Any ideas or experience with this?

Treat them like annoying humans, they are garbage and need to know their proper place.
If they were useful, if they really were great, full of wisdom and such, they wouldn't need to stuck in someone's life. In the end they are just dumb ghosts that crave attention they long have lost.

Hello /x/, I'm hoping you can give me some feedback about a weird sighting a friend of mine had last week. We live near the Ohio/Pennsylvania border, and my friend was hiking on a hill near some woods at around 9:00pm, so it wasn't totally dark.
He says he turned around at one point and saw a figure with no discernible arms, legs or facial features standing behind him. It didn't look like like it was floating, and it wasn't glowing but it was a very bright white so it almost looked like it glowed. It was about 8 feet tall.
My friend pulled out his hunting knife but the thing lunged at him and he ran, and it chased him. After a few minutes he slid/fell down a gravelly hill, and when he looked up from the bottom the thing was gone.
He wasn't on any drugs at the time. And he doesn't really have an interest in paranormal stuff but he told me about it because he knows I read about stuff like this. I tried searching the internet and found something called a nightcrawler, sighted in Ohio and California, but those have spindly legs. The Ohio sighting involved a 7-foot creature but the ones in Fresno were 3 feet tall. The attached picture is of the Ohio sighting.
Any thoughts on what it might be?

I've been so interested in my dreams for the last couple years.
Taking melatonin seems to make them more vivid. Or maybe more frequent, since I usually can remember a good portion of my dreams anyway.
But, it doesn't make me tired anymore. Gives me a strange kind of headache that usually comes in sharp pulses. Really small, pretty easy to ignore.
I've also read that your brain produces a very small amount when you sleep, much MUCH less than the 5mg in each pill. The night before last I took 20mg and was having a dream where I just held my head and was groaning loudly in pain. Woke up actually holding my head. I take extra hoping that it can put me into a deeper sleep, possibly putting me in a state where I can be spoken to/shown something of value..
melotonin initiates the desire for sleep, it doesn't do shit for you while you sleep.
if you want to have vivid and/or memorable dreams, just use B12 supplements.
I would strongly advice against using melatonin for extended periods of time when you have no problem falling asleep on your own, and especially at the concentrations you are taking in. people who i know have actual severe melatonin deficiencies take up to 10 mg, 20 mg is just too fucking much for anything.

I know this will get a lot of shitposting, but I kinda wanted to address this.
Ever since I was pretty little, I had these weird ass dreams related to dolls. I remember my first one vaguely. I was about 5 years old at the time, so this was ages ago. Not sure if anyone knows what I'm talking about, but the dream started out with me standing on a lily pad, and my surroundings resembled the arena of the chaos 4 boss fight from Sonic Adventure DX. (Don't play it, overrated as hell) A random girl walks up to me with a night gown on telling me to hold her doll for her. She said she'll scream and the doll will hurt me if I drop it into the water. To no surprise, I drop it into the water. The doll starts screaming like a fucking banshee, and it starts drowning me. During this, the doll's eyes start to bulge and pop out of its head. I finally wake up. Ever since that dream, I've had similar occurrences with doll dreams and a major fear of them. My question has always been, how in the hell did this fear or phobia even begin. I remember from the time I was about 2-4 years old I loved dolls. When I was 7, I got a baby doll for Christmas from a friend, and after they left the celebration, i threw the doll in the closet with the fear that it would murder me if I held it for too long. (Keep in mind, I was only seven) I only threw out the doll recently after going through some old stuff, but my question still remains, where did my fear come from? Does anyone from /x/ have any ideas?

Yeah, I get doll related nightmares form time to time, ever since I was very young. I think the fuel for my earlier dreams were caused by the spider baby from Toy Story, maybe even the whole of Toy Story!

Does anyone have any construction related spooky stories? That is hauntings/ paranormal activity occurring on construction sites?
Currently working the graveyard shift on a project now and just got a call about some spooky stuff going down so decided to make a thread about it.
I have worked in construction for 12 years now and occasionally I will get reports from other workers about some unexplained goings on but never encountered anything myself. Usually its strange noises that are not mechanically or pneumatically generated like distinctively organic in origin. Sightings of strange shapes, shadows that don't behave as the should. Sometimes people who appear out of place in a construction setting.

So just got a call about a man walking at speed throughout the building. Anytime there are unauthorized personnel on site everyone is supposed to report it immediately and make the effort to respectfully inform the person that they are not allowed to be here and to please leave. The building is a large food service venue with several restaurants and at this stage in the project there is adequate lighting but some places are dark and the large amount of equipment/ material make it hard to move quickly or maintain good sight lines. The workers describe him as an older man late 50s, wearing formal attire. They first tried to get his attention by shouting but he either didn't hear or ignored them. So they followed him all the while repeatedly trying to get his attention but no success. He is still moving at a brisk walk almost a power walk and the many obstructions littered throughout the site don't seem to impede his progress. He just seemed to gracefully slide in between the obstructions never slowing his pace. They continue to follow him through a corridor as he turns a corner and when they round the corner to the intersecting corridor they tell me he just disappeared. Even though there was absolutely no where he could hide nor any way he could have covered the length of the corridor in a matter of seconds. When I went to the area to follow up with their report I got the feeling like I was in a vacuum under negative pressure as if all the air was being removed.

Ok. By now in sort of terrified to tell this story, because of how much these people know about me. But i want to share with you, what i think is the truth about legal highs in one of the countries in eastern europe (dont want to specify for safety reasons)
Im sure youve allheard about legal highs. Chemicals such as substituted synthetic cathinones, benzofurans, synthetic cannabinoids etc. in my country, they have taken over the market of drugs. because of this, here we have two sort of rivaling forums that discuss mostly these research chemicals, and ive come to realize that the forums are actually simply infiltration machines of those selling said "drugs". Practicly all users of these substances come there for information. They also ddk reports on how the drugs work. This serves as a free commercial for those things. The scary part happens once you stay on those forums for longer. The moderators have acces to all chats and messages you send, andthey gather information onyou. Once you start buying more and getting etter deals you get caught in it. You are made to start selling because of them blackmailing you with the information they gathered about you. They even have fake accounts that wil befriend you and then use the gathered info against you. I dont want to go to 100% detail like naming names but i can answer all questions. I suck at explaining, and english isnt my first langage so ill do my best.

Ill try to summarize what i now upti now:
The whole scheme is run by some sort of organized group that deals with retail sale of synthetic legal highs from china, and also regular drugs. They set up two forums, supposedly rivaling to create a false feeling of choice between usergroups, and to eliminate rival forums by creating a false sense of rivalry in the audience they aim at. The moderators and users high inthe hierarchy are at large vendors of drugs and legal highs, the drugs vendor stay "lowkey" but enough to gather attention of normal isers of the forum to makedeal with them. The moderators appear to be dissapearing once a feud between one of them and the site owners gets started. This is even known on the forums as the moderators curse, they supposedly die but realisticly no one knows - however the phenomenon is big enough to have a name.
Users who have threatened the forum or moderators, or appear to talk about this conspiracy (that i know apprears to be fucking schizo, trust me i question my sanity because of believing this, but i dont see another explanation of these facts) have been reported dead by their friends on the forum. Supposedly drug iverdoses. These circumstances are similar to what happens to moderators.

Aside from these things, big money is also involved. Alot of people offthe forums at one point become blackmailed into becoming dealers as i mentioned. They then order large quantities of the synthetic drugs fromthe vendors advertised onthe forums. Now these orders can go close up to 10k my countries currency. Now imagine hat theres 20 people likethis, thats 200k rightthere. And if you addto that all the small buyers, its easily about 300k in orders at a given time. Now, at any given point inthe last 3 years ive been involved with the forums, there is always one vendor that is the main one. Its where all those blackmailed go to buy. Coincidentally, every year that vendor suddenly dissapeares with people money inhis pocket and without returning his orders. This is then discussed onthe forums but thenthe moderators silencethe issue and delete the discussion.
The money involved inthis is astonishing.
