I keep having recurring visions of a sphere with a diameter of Graham's number, somewhere outside the multiverse. Is it possible such a thing could exist, /x/?
>I keep having recurring visions of a sphere with a diameter of Graham's number
Sound legit.

I don't think an object like that is anywhere within the realm of human comprehension.
Sleeping people tend to attach meanings to images regardless of whether they actually belong together.
That being said it is fun to speculate on such things. It's not really possible for an object to exist "outside" of a universe. There isn't any space and therefore there can't be any mass.
But the universe is infinite, as mind boggling as that is, the space is there for such a sphere,...

Do you remember this bone? Thread is lost now. So what happened? Any news?

I remember that thread. The guy just freaked and left. I don't think he came back.
looks like a rock shaped like a pelvic bone....

Some guy found a bunch of different human bones buried in his backyard. He assembled some of them and /x/philes concluded that they were all human, but from different bodies etc.
I didn't save the pics tho.
So, /x/ how does one think like Sherlock Holmes without being psychic?
OP's goal in life: Be a fictional character
Sherlock Holmes solves crime by:
>being extremely intelligent - knowing a great amount about a great number of subjects
>being extremely detail oriented
>having incredible deductive reasoning
>being fictional

Almost impossible. He sees brick dust on someones shoe and callouses on their hands then thinks a bricklayer. It really could be that he walked through a construction site and his callouses are from jerking off too much.
What do you think of the secret society of magicians vs. the "shaman" role in many societies? Do they reflect fundamentally different conceptions of what magic is and what its role should be? For those of you who believe in magic, do you think either of these is more worthwhile than the other?
What's your opinion of the booming popularity of things like "neo-shamanism," and how do you think spirits feel about all these strangers suddenly blowing up their phones after they were mostly left alone aside from the occasional ritual summoning for like 150 years?
I do not like the .be silent sbout your Work" aspect of occultism. I very much prefer the idea of being a shaman/"granny witch" who is looked to for answers by the commuty etc to being a self-serving emotional recluse.

>>16925518
Yeah. Actually, some forms of magic were quite openly accepted even in Christian Europe for a very long time. The idea that "witches" were being burned left and right is largely a myth, though it did occur on occasion when someone was believed to have been engaging in sorcery (defined as malevolent magic intended to harm others).
I'm sorry you're lonely.
As Bob Dylan put it, you got to serve somebody. In magic or esoterics that's yourself or humanity. I don't have a judgement about whichever is best for you at the time.
I was trained from a young age by both government employees and private corporations as part of a program designed to create a new global elite. I know that given all of the roleplaying here that you probably won't believe me, but oh well because this is for shits and giggles.
Ask me anything except for stuff that would expose who/where I am.
What is your name and where are you?

Anyone here summoned a demon/spirit? What was your experience like? Any sources//instructions/tips for doing so? I've been curious about doing so for some time. Dont bother posting just to tell me not to do it, at least explain why.

Sorry to tell you, but this spirit business is all fake as shit. Look up some research if you don't believe me. See ghost in a house? Most likely carbon monoxide starting to poison you. Have premonitions of the future, or de ja vu? mini seizures in the brain.
Guys, If a time machine has been invented and only a small number of people out there know about it how would i go about finding those people?
Post a picture that's been posted about a million times on 4chan and they'll contact you. You are special, they can sense that. Only you can save the world!!!
You invent a betting game were people have to predict random numbers to get a huge payout.

>What is damn near any form of gambling?
Alright, so here's my situation.
There's been this ghost in my house and I know he's occupying a mask that I own.
It's a nice mask, and I need to use it for a film project. However, I don't want him causing shit by someone putting it on. So, I came up with a solution.
I proposed to the ghost that I can give him a more suitable vessel if he can help me out. My idea is that I let him occupy a different mask, one that I don't mind giving away, and then I give that mask to this one asshole who screwed me over a while ago. Then the ghost gets a better host, and I get revenge. Two birds, one stone.
Only problem is, I don't know how to attach a ghost to something else. Do I use a sigil or some shit? Or can the ghost just give his consent? Anyone that has any tips please fill me in.
self-bump because i need this

where are the answers folks? someone just throw me a bone here
>>16925406
You could try sex magic, but it's not without risks if you're uninitiated to the proper rituals.
One of you will assume the male/dominant/sending role and don the cursed object while the female/submissive/receiving wears the empty vessel. If you can't find any willing ladies two guys can work as well. Just make sure balls aren't touching (unless you're into that thing you sick puppy).

I live in Northern New Mexico, in the hills in the outskirts of a moderately sized city. My house is actually in a valley; the further you go away from the city the more mountainous the terrain gets. A mountain sort of looms over the area, it isn't huge or anything but it's far taller than anything nearby and the face you can see from my house is really sheer.
There's a single trail that leads to the peak of the mountain and i hike it all the time. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the trailhead and the hike to the peak takes about 2...

A week later i was outside again at midnight and i saw the light again. Just as before it stayed constant and unmoving for 20 minutes and then when dark. This was kind of beyond weird so I decided to go out the next night at the same time to check it out again. Sure enough, that night it was there and behaved the same way. I timed it this time, it came on right at 12:20 and turned off at 12:42. Since then I've watched the peak on most nights and every night i have it has been out there at the same time and done...

Tomorrow I'll take some better pictures with a real camera.
Some background: I worked for the New Mexico Forest Service on a trail crew for 3 months this past summer. I spent 3 months straight living, working, and shitting in the woods. If you've been to New Mexico, you'll know it's got a strange vibe to it. I read about this before coming but I really couldn't anticipate just how true it is.
Op, could it have been a star in between trees?
Wicca is powerful magic. It leaves marks on the spellweavers who practice it. The following are the most prevalent witches' marks.
*Youthful appearance. Most wiccans, likely through the use of their Magick, take on the countenance of a girl in her teens. They often take extra steps to maintain this ruse, in the form of homunculi or ensorcelled adults kept in their household and used as servants, while maintaining an elaborate roleplay to the public as though they were the witches parents. On occasion it's a father and a mother, but usually it's just the...

Look i saw some wicca girl describe a love spell ritual here once and let me tell you I got scared.
The shit is they dont know the theory but they don't need to, and women are the ones to generally have a more intuitive understanding of this bizzness. And that she had, she understood ritual better than i do, and i've been reading occult stuff for years.
And yeah i wouldn't want to be on the "target" end of any of that shit. Honest.

Most. Some of the truly powerful radiate the power of womanhood and the strength of being a single mother (because why keep one man when you can choose any, when you want, how you want?) so strongly that even the strongest glamour cannot hide it. These mighty witches show the counteance of a middle aged woman, however still, the other marks, the dyed hair, excessive jewelery, and familiar (especially in the form of cats), collection can be taken to even more extreme levels.
Not all witches bear all marks,...

Sup /x/, I'm thinking about doing my first "Urban Exploration" with some friends. We've decide to look around this semi creepy looking abandon spa in our neighborhood. Any general tips on what to bring or to expect? Will be taking pictures and posting them here once we go next month. Also share your urban exploration stories!

Cut yourself off from human contact. Unplug the telephone. Board up the windows. Don’t answer the door. You have to remain completely isolated. No internet, no TV, no pets, no companionship. Not even an imaginary friend. How long you need to stay like this depends on who you are, it could take years. You should probably stock up on supplies.
Humans are social creatures. Isolation has a powerful effect on the human mind. After a while your mind will start to play tricks on you. The shadows will morph into menacing creatures. You’ll hear strange noises. This isn’t...

You’ll drive through huge sprawling cities, unlike any metropolis you’ve ever seen. But they will be completely empty. Eventually your car will run out of gas. You’ll have to continue on foot. You can sleep when you get tired, but you will only dream of wandering through darkness, all alone.
Eventually, when you can barely even remember what a human face looks like, you will find yourself standing in the community where the person most dear to you lives. It will be dark and raining heavily. Shadowy, human like figures will be walking about, chatting happily to each...

When you leave, you will see that the world has gone back to the way it was. For the first time in ages, you will see real flesh and blood people. Don’t worry, you’re lonesomeness is over, feel free to join you’re fellow human beings. If you check a newspaper, you will find that not a day has passed since you started this quest, though if you keep reading, you will also find that the person you got your umbrella from, the person who you thought meant more to you than anything, has mysteriously vanished. Don’t worry; you have your object, that’s all the company you...
