when i was little, around 6yo, i used to have the same nightmare over and over again, it went like this:

>nightmares got progressively worse
then one day i woke up from said nightmare and couldnt remember a thing, i didnt know where i was, what i had been doing or even who i was
walked up to the living room and didnt recognize my parents or my house
no memories, no resemblances, no nothing
been living life normally as if that night was day 1, never had the same nightmare again
has anyone ever heard or experienced such things?

and no, that is the earliest memory i have, i can still remember it very vividly
my instincts, basic stuff i learned from school, etc all remained

In my humild opinion maybe a demon tried to possess you (nightmares are the first signal), then he showed horrible things to you and an angel protected you and deleted your memory to not get traumatized. Then you said you got no more nightmares later...

/x/, serious question here; why is Florida so fucked up? I feel like every single fucked up crime of the week comes from this place. It's apparently teeming with cults, drugged out lunatics, serial killers and all sorts of folklore and paranormal things too. I mean, you get mostly harmless "Florida Man" shenanigans a lot of the time, but otherwise it's dark as shit.
Any theories? What's at the heart of all this?

About a third of the US population is in Florida ( following Boston/NYC corridor and California ) so it's no surprise more things happen there than in, say, Wyoming which has a population less than many major US cities.

I feel like people in ungodly hot places are always just teetering on the edge of sanity. You could probably get an understanding for it if you visit a place where the humidity is 100%, I honestly don't know how people can live like that where even a walk to the end of your driveway will leave you drenched in sweat. After numerous mystical experiences occurring during meditation, sleeping and in other states i seem to have reached a point after 20+ years where things are progressing on their own, in spite any action or inaction on my part.

20 years and your there duded when i did it for my first few months. I had those things dude get used too it. You chose too fall down the hole it gets worse you won't be able too sleep at night sometimes. Sometimes you will be stuck with energy and pressure on your forehead. Were its so damn hard too sleep. It will be easy waking up in the mornings but its uncontrollable.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this or not but if anyone does dream interpretation I would love some assistance with a particularly disturbing one that has made me unable to sleep.
I started out in a meat packing plant as an inspector or just a third party observer and as I went through it it became obvious that is was a plant for processing human meat the longer it went the more disturbing realistic details I could see till finally it ended on seeing a guy hooked up to the machine and sent in screaming "oh dear god help me" and that is when I woke up this happened yesterday during my before work nap.
What could this mean and what would even cause me to dream about something like this?
