We need some good spooky stories
I'll start
So I'm a oilfield medic in northern Alberta and I was working nightshift in the middle of the Canadian wilderness. I sit at the very edge of the Work site and there was only two other people on site . So I'm sitting in my MTC (mobile treatment centre) watching for wildlife because we had quite a few reports from day of wolves and Cougars in the area. Im scanning the treeline when I see some movement close to my MTC (I was only 30 feet from the tree line) so I look a little closer it looked humanoid so I roll my window down and called to it thinking it was someone lost in the woods who needed help. I didn't get any response but it waved at me and grind I got chills down my spine I ended up rolling my window up and driving over to the other two guys on site and I told them what I saw. Of course they didnt believe me and laughed me off so I pointed to where I saw it. it was standing where my truck was (about 100ft from where I am currently parked) looking at us with the widest grin on its face. I felt the colour drain from my face. we dropped everything and jumped in my truck and left site as fast as I could go. thinking back on it we were a good 80km from any active site or anything for that matter so I don't know why I thought someone was lost in the middle of the wood during winter.
What did it look like ?

Back in like 2006-2008, I watched nickelodeon till late in the night (11-12 o clock).
The later it got the weirder were the shows, there were shows not even for children.
First there was Kenen and Kel wich was a normal tv show from nickelodeon.
But then came a show about George W. Busch, it was a sitcom, I think its name was that is my bush or something like that. (also weird that they showed this on nickelodeon).
Then came a show about puppets. They looked weird, but I remember a particular scene were there was telephone sex and the guy on the other and vomited everywhere because he was sick or something, but the scene goes on for far to long. It was clearly not for children. I also have to note that I watched the german nickelodeon.
Does anyone of you know anything about this weird puppet show ? I can not find any information about it.

I've had sleep paralysis for as long as I can remember, reaching back into my childhood. In fact, the earliest I remember having sleep paralysis was about 4 or 5 years old. I would wake up in the middle of the night, unable to move, scared to death. Every time I awoke I felt a looming presence in my room, as if something or someone was watching me, it felt more like a "thing" rather than a person though, something menacing. Often times I couldn't see what it was. My imagination ran wild and all I could think of was aliens, as if I was being abducted. I still have sleep paralysis to this day actually, it happens once or twice every other week usually.
Back to sleep paralysis occurrences though. I've always felt sort of unsafe going to bed at night, it's hard to explain. The most reoccurring sleep paralysis occurrence consists of me believing I'm being abducted by aliens, I usually wake up before I think "they" are about to take me away. It's sort of unnerving to type this to be honest. Anyway, it had gotten to the point when I was in high school that I believed I had actually been abducted by aliens, on multiple occasions. I believe this because ever since I was a small child, I have always had a PARALYZING fear of aliens, even seeing a picture from like a Google image search. It still shakes me to my core. I can't bear it. It makes me cringe with fear. I think this is because my brain is repressing memories of past abductions, and seeing related images triggers something and strikes instant fear in me. I digress though. Sleep paralysis? Perhaps. Alien abduction? I don't know. Regardless, it has all of the tell tale signs of sleep paralysis.
What are your guys' thoughts? Do any of you have sleep paralysis? What usually occurs in your experiences?
Same has happened ever since I was 4 or 5. Though idk if its sleep paralysis or the family curse my mom always mentions.
The clearest most scary one I remember was when I was a junior in high school in a runaway shelter.
I was sleeping that night In a room with my two roommates and in the middle of the night I woke up went to the bathroom and lied back down. Thats when my body froze, I felt like the bed under neath me was forming waves and heard noises .
Then there was shortness of breathe and the voice and words I can forget cause I was absolutely terrified. It said, "I am [the devil] (aint typing his name here fuck that) give me your soul"....and in order to say no I basically had to groan like I was in pain.
Now, ID say it was a bad dream but that morning my two buddies asked if I was okay last night cause I was groaning as though I was in pain.
I be had sleeping issues ever since.
Are there any theories surrounding the Wow! signal? I know they tried playing it off as a deflected signal from earth, but how likely is it that the signal was actually from another lifeform?

If I remember correctly, didn't they point several more in the direction in space where they thought it came from for a good while before deciding it being a signal from Earth was the most logical conclusion? And wasn't the entire point of even having that thing to listen to possible transmissions from space? What would be the point in "playing it off"?
Honestly, not everything is a damn conspiracy. If you don't have enough evidence for something you go for the next logical conclusion.
Why haven't any humans that served in the black budget human Space Program and black budget military underground bases that house aliens come out? Or am I ignorant and people have come out?

This story has gotten some strange twists and turns so far. Tldr: It's not comets and this star has been exhibiting strange characteristics for almost 100 years.
Now, with this type of strange reporting going on, the flip flopping of different space agencies; and the continued support from most religious organizations that aliens exist... If like to propose that while not fighting to confuse us citizens, I think the governments and organized religions are creating an honest to God bad cop, good cop scenario.
Think about this: the last two Popes have said that if aliens exist and they do, we'd be happy to give them communion.
The government has been mum outside of a few NASA employees playing Devils advocate for alien life existing. Look at Ceres and the bright spots upon it. NASA never denied it wasn't more than it was for awhile there, for about two weeks they put out theories of what it might be. Denied some of the alien architecture claims, but not all.
What I'm wondering is this: are we being confused intentionally to make it more difficult to discern the alien truth if the evidence arrives that the do exist?
Or is it science versus religion once again?
