So i had gotten this spellbaord as a gift when i was about 17 years old and ive used it atlesst 3 times and those three times ive gotten results while usimg it with a friend, the spirit who would come through tried to convince me it was my spirit guide which i knew better... so i stopped using it and its been 2 years now and now i want to get rid of the board since i dont want anything to do with spirits or possible hauntings. The board is beautiful and i feel like if i keep it ill still have some sort of connection to the spirits that came through, only one spirit seemed to give me bad vibs but didnt habe a problem after the session. So now the point of the story is i need to get rid of it, ive heard rumors that burning it might be a bad idea i just dont want to get any kind of bad luck, how can i get rid of the board without feeling creeped out after. Pic related
1) Best: Cut in seven pieces, bury them far away, not all in the same hole
2) Next Best, wrap in dark material, toss in trash without any words or ceremony

On the flip side, I very much appreciate as much as I can the potential value instilled by being forced to live a human life, be it from the knowledge I have found through fear, or the connection I have with my flesh. I think no one would be the least bit shocked to hear that Jimmy Page, Jim Morrison, and David Bowie dabbled in the occult. It's when mainstream family-friendly musicians (like Sammy Davis Jr. - see an earlier post) get in on the action that I become intrigued. My personal favorite is Daryl Hall who had this to say in '87:

Lads, I've recently learned of the concept of tulpas. Apparently they're sentient beings that you create with your mind over a long and thorough process lasting many accumulative hours.
I did some research on the matter and decided I'm interested in trying to create one. I don't know why I want to necessarily...it's not like I need the extra company. I'm married, have a large number of siblings, a few really close friends, and I cherish the alone time I can get. So, you'd think I'm the last person that should want one, but I do. So there it is.
Is it a bad idea? Any horror stories? I already know about the screaming pinky pie pasta. I want to make a female tulpa that's like, 8.5/10 with a great sense of humor to just engage in shenanigans with.

I've been aware of this shit for years, yet the only time I ever do "feel" it is whenever I let my paranoia, from reading creepypasta, get to me.
I spend most of my time on long, empty roads every night; I'm sure if ghosts, aliens, or skinwalkers existed, I would have experienced them by now.

Regenerating blood endlessly pretty much keeps your body endlessly young, if you could do it. It's not a metaphor. When doing occult rituals , do people use metaphores or do they use real blood?

I know there's a divination thread, but they mostly just do readings in those things.
I can definitely feel psychometry. People have always thought I'm odd for not having much interest in photos and caring much more about tokens and now that I'm older I even feel things from items that don't have personal significance to me but did to other people. I have so many keepsakes and antiques I have to be careful not to come across as a hoarder but I can tell you a little story about every single one.
