Instead of having a ton of different "prove x is real" (or disprove, as you prefer) let's just have one big definitions thread.
For example, enlightenment might be best explained by defining "ego" well, or magick might be best explained by defining intent. Whatever the case, all proofs ultimately depend on definitions so let's get those straightened out first.
Let's start with the most basic question of all:
>what does paranormal mean to you?
>paranormal:
Anything that falls outside the accepted limits of our everyday human experience. That indeed means that paranormal events have, in fact, been proven to exist in labs, yes.
>>17112369
I like that definition, but it always seems lacking to me for some reason. I feel like that definition only exists to shut people up about what's paranormal vs. what supposedly isn't. Some might argue stuff like religion isn't paranormal because it's sort of an everyday thing for a lot of people, but you can also argue that the content of religion is paranormal because it generally isn't encountered until after death. A lot of stuff that gets posted on this board is legitimately debatable as paranormal or not and it never really gets discussed well.
But then again, maybe that boundary is supposed to be blurry and we're not supposed to define it.
I'm gonna go ahead and define universe before the simulation thread spirals out of control.
The universe is everything enveloped by whatever incomputable basis makes existence possible.
What is the scariest video I can find on Youtube or the best ghost videos I can find? I've seen a lot but probably not the most. Any help guise?
Stumbled on to this the other day

Well at least her videos are short.
Of course everything can be faked these days but I like this one, something about the teachers reaction that seems quite real

You can't say you weren't warned. You'd heard about these things growing up. You'd always known the threat was out thereāor was believed to be, anyway. The rumors always made their rounds and you'd thought nothing of it. Again; it was normal to be aware of the idea.
But you were never prepared for something like this.
>devastating realizations thread
Post things that sound perfectly fine until you start to think about their implications.
All the anticipation threads have left me with a craving....

Let your words be as gentle as the snowfall and their hidden realization as heavy as the glaciers.

>That cthulhu at the bottom
So I wanted to try this again
I've noticed in a lot of stories that usually either don't involve cops, or when the cops get involved it goes 'we didn't see a thing' or 'they'll think I'm insane'. Well, I thought it was odd that despite how many situations cops may get into, none are really given much attention. I'm pretty sure there has to at least be a few good ones out there.
btw by 'law enforcement' i mean anything, from city police to sheriff's deputies, from deputies to state patrol, state to...

also, there was this good one some while ago where anon was living somewhere in the mountains and he and his friend saw something while fishing at a river(?)
around the midstory they had their uncle, the sheriff, and some townspeople helping them search for the creature in the woods since it scratched the hell out of his friend or something along those lines
>>17096098
wtf
I don't really count as law enforcement, but I'm a security guard. I work at an animal research facility. I haven't had any surefire paranormal encounters, but night shifts when the animals are sleeping are always pretty freaky.
on a greyhound trip from ohio to Washington. get to this stop in the dakotas. there are these very sketchy looking cops walking around all the people getting off the bus. there all young and very skinny. these cop give off a super evil vibe. like demonic meth addicts. i can tell there looking for a victim not a perp(dont ask me how).finish my smoke, get back on the bus. it was like 10 minutes of my life but i still haven't shaken it
I just went to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror only to see an old man starring at me with his creepy eyes......... WHAT THE FUCK... I never hallucinated before, what the fuck is that shit???? I've never been this scared in my entire life. Wtf do I do?.. I cant sleep

So me and a friend went to look inside Liverpool Cathedral cuz it's huge and looks mad inside, pic related
We'd had a bit of a doob and we were walking towards the front of the church where the priest stands and stuff
Then I felt like this huge barrier of energy, like a forcefield, stopping me from going any further and i got really bad vibes
So I said to my friend "Lets not, I'm getting bad vibes" and she said the got the same thing too and she thought it was her being the antichrist :')
Was it because of ganja or is it...

Haha it doesn't actually smell too bad y'know- only on a sunday morning after the take-away boxes are scattered on the streets from the saturday night
>>17124790
All the scattered donna kebabs, birds must love it tho...
We have the same problem here in scotland. So how's liverpool right now? We've still got alittle wind
i thinks its uncommon to see some fleshgait stories out of this board. post them if you have any screencaps and greentexts.
for me a fleshgait is much more terrifying than a goatman because they are violent and they do kill people.
>>17124533
indeed. fleshgaits are genuinely terrifying on multiple levels.
goatmen... from everything ive read of them id drink a beer with one if i could. they seem like adorable spazzes ofthe cryptid world :3
Anyone else like going to raves and stealing energy from people?
Concerts are good in general but most people at raves are on psychedelics or molly and the visuals they play make a good combination for opening people up. If your thrid eye is open it can be fun but if your just another bro or stoner tipping balls and have no idea whats going on you open yourself up and there are way more "demons"(low frequency entities which cause misery) than "angles"...
Most of these clueless people end up being sluts and addicts and think its cuz they are...

So what came true?
Napoleon came back to life, pandas began taking steroids and half of the world's leaders had their skins turn monochrome. Do you live under a rock?
>>17123242
Very little but "Panic" was edited in...
>>17123254
Hanz is Napoleon... The only question is what is the nature of his punishment that he came back as a /x/ anonymous Schizophrenic...
Has anyone else here realized they've created a false sense of reality?
Personally I'm trapped in several.
Most people have a few but don't realize it.

That's a mezuzah.
>A mezuzah (Hebrew: ×Ö°××Ö¼×Öø× "doorpost"; plural: ×Ö°××Ö¼××Ö¹×Ŗ mezuzot) is a piece of parchment (often contained in a decorative case) inscribed with specified Hebrew verses from the Torah (Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and 11:13-21).
