And even if there's no such thing as a Pokemon that's gay, which would make sense, given that they're animals, that says nothing about the actual humans in that world. Which means that homosexuals hypothetically could exist in the Pokemon World.

Kinda, although not really. I'm playing the older games but not in a particular order or anything, and the older ones mostly to exploit glitches.
I played Neo Y but took a break after the first gym because of an error and Sinking Sapphire but took a break at the Team Aqua plot after Lilycove.

How good would an AI be at Pokemon?
After all the buzz with the Google computer that beat Lee Se-Dol, and the Microsoft program Tay that ended up going rogue, it'd be interesting to see the advances in learning AI be applied to gaming. Pokemon would be an interesting place to start.
After all, between Smogon and Pokemon Showdown, you already have a wealth of information to feed it so it can formulate strategies.
Assuming the AI would have the same limitations as the player (ie: not having battle frontier level RNG hax) it could probably be exploited fairly quickly. AI doesn't do very well in games that involve hidden information.

That's what I expected. A learning AI would be very interesting as a final boss to the game. Imagine an enemy that doesn't just know every aspect of the game, but parses every action you make as data to base the strategy and team it uses against you.
A few years ago I had a fucking stupid idea.
I thought it'd be cool to do a DnD type thing, but set in the Pokemon world. Where yes, every battle calculation would be made.
Maybe there's a way to set a program up to so it all for you? And then if you're into it, grab a few mates around the table and go on a Pokemon adventure, crafting your story.
Maybe it could work. Does anyone else think that?

PTU is really the most in-depth system out there, though if you don't like the level of detail it goes to, you probably won't enjoy playing it.

Yesterday was the muscle bound construction working carnie warlords Conkeldurr line, today will be about the wart frogs, and the 5th Water/Ground type, Tympole, Palpitoad, and Seismitoad.
My thoughts: I think these guys are a decent addition to the water/ground family. I used them for a while in my original White run...until I replaced them with Carracosta. But that was mostly to the latter being more cool in my eyes.
Design wise, these frogs...Don't offend me too bad? Yeah. I wish Seismitoad was leaner though, if that could improve the design.
Gastrodon set the bar too high with Recover. Seismitoed already belongs to the underclass of water types, and not having any particular niche as a water/ground kills it. Swift swim? Hello mega swampert. Running bulk? Just use gastrodon. It has recover.
There's a slew of moves seismitoed ought to learn. Hex, Boomburst, Sucker Punch, Perish Song.
I like how they managed to combine both vocal sacs and warts into the bumps covering the toad's bodies.
Design wise, I like how seismitoad's red eyes and hunched stance give it a decrepit, miserable look. I also find it interesting that seismitoad is poisonous despite not being a poison type. Tympole and palpitoad are also pretty okay.
First two stages are a joke and a mess, especially the first one's expression, the warts on the last one are kinda gross but it's ok overall
