I know people have talked about Sound type in the past, but I really think it should be a type, seeing how many sound based moves and Pokemon we already have.
Sound is weak to Ice because using sound on a snowy surface creates an avalanche, which attacks the sound maker, and weak against ground because you can't hear someone buried under 6 feet of dirt.
Sound is resisted by Steel because it absorbs and channels sound, Ground muffles it, Flying because wind can muffle and distort sounds and Sound types are used to their own loud noises already.
Sound resists Psychic because noise and songs have often been used to counteract psychic influence, Dark because when moving in the darkness, any sound betrays you, and again, itself.
Sound is strong against Rock because sound can be used to destroy stones (such as kidney stones) using resonance, Psychic because loud noises ruin concentration, Water because it's well known tapping on the glass creates hurtful noise, and water amplifies sound well, and Fighting because sound can be used to disorient and paralyze people, which can stop Fighting types dead in their tracks.
As for the Pokemon, Jigglypuff line is famous for it's singing and sound based attacks, Exploud because Exploud, Chimecho because Chimes are sound making devices, Chatot because you know why, Meloetta because songs are sound, Audino because it's also sound based, Politoed because a large part of it's gimmick is it's croaks and the songs it can make, Pyroar because it's based around it's roars.
Noivern I'm not sure because to be, it makes sense for it to be Sound/Flying because I don't see this thing as a dragon, but the idea of a Sound/Dragon type seems too good, but that would remove it's flying type and immunity to ground despite it's wings..
Moves, I gave Sound type a physical move, a priority move and a special flinching move plus the Intimidation ability in move form.
Thoughts? Or did I just waste my time?

None of these species names appear to match the only Pokemon we've seen from the announcement trailer so I would definitely say its fake. We can assume that the new Pokemon is the regional bird and the only contender on this list is too far down to be it.

I work at IGN and we're getting an exclusive trailer for the starter Pokemon from Sun and Moon. It'll be announced on the 10th of March and air on the 11th. I've seen the trailer once and I don't get to see it again until the day it's meant to air. They showed the legendaries near the end for a brief flash but were difficult to make out. The trailer said the region was called 'Vactoh' or something.
The Grass starter is a bipedal bear. It's fur is mostly green save for a brown patch on it's chest and stomach and brown markings on it's feet and face, sort of like tribal tattoos but not as intricate. It has 3 black toes/claws on each limb It's ears point up and it's head is almost the same size as it's body. There's moss growing on it's back. It has a cute innocent expression on it's face.
The Fire starter is an adorable little quadrupedal orange lizard. It's eyes are massive and make it look kind of surprised most of the time. Along it's back and side is an alternating chevron pattern in a dark red colour, making it look more streamlined. It has two claws on each foot which are shaped like bolts or the letter Z and it's tail has a small spike or nub right near the tip.
The Water starter is a sea slug of a turquoise colour. It has a yellow streak running through it's core that you can see since it's partially transparent. It has small black eyes and a simple looking mouth. It has two antennae poking straight up out of it's head and it has multiple greenish yellow star shaped spots all over it's body.

The Sun legendary looked like a humanoid lizard from the flash I saw, with it's colour scheme being mainly orange with some red and blue thrown in there for good measure. It kind of looked like it was wearing a crown but it could have been a crest or something.
The Moon legendary was most definitely a moth or butterfly, it was a light blue colour with some green highlights and multiple eyes, and had numerous spots on it that glowed a light red colour, almost pink but not quite. It had a three pronged crest on it's head too but from what I saw it looked nothing like a crown.

At what point do remakes stop? We're almost ten years on from Diamond and Pearl, are they candidates for remaking, or are they still too "new" in terms of graphics and features? At what point does a Pokemon gen, despite its age, resemble the current gen enough not to warrant a remake?
What about Gen 1? The remakes of Red and Green are even older than Gen 4. So do we remake Gen 4 or do we remake Gen 1 again? Or do we only remake a gen one time?

I want them to stop doing them altogether and just put them on VC from now on. Remakes are trash, ESPECIALLY ORAS, and I hate this "everything must get a remake" mentality people have. Just fucking play the old game and ask for something new instead.
