I just want custom MC in gen 5.
i am willing to create a gen 2 hack and i wanna do the following:
>physical/special split
>Edit Pokemon Data (BST, Movepool, Typing, Evolution Method)
>Edit available Moves (adding some gen 3/4 moves (replacing moves i don't need if i understand that right)), also editing existing moves so that shit like rock smash might get useful
>Remove fucking Flash from caves
>Place/Create new Trainers (I want some PWTish shit to go down at Mt. Silver), also means adding a new sprite or two
>Add abilities
>Obviousely edit existing trainer data and wild pokemon data and starters
>Edit market data and prices for items
>maybe adding fairy type
>maybe doing some map changes
>maybe editing shiny chances
that's all i can think of right now
now my question is, are there tools for everything that i want to do? is all of the listed stuff even possible to do on a gold or crystal rom?

Everything seems in order. You want to use the disassembly though, not traditional hacking tools (half the shit I listed as doable is a lot harder hacking traditionally).
