I am going to make this prediction: they look related to zygarde in some way
They're two of Zygarde's cores
One is Sun Core, one is Moon Core
There are two other formes for X Core and Y Core and the one we know now as 50% is Z Core.
Gen 6.5 is real and it focuses around Zygarde and we're only getting 17 new pokemon including 9 starters, Magearna and 4 new Zygarde.

You can't add new Pokemon mid gen... G 6.5 will not happen. The game is G 7. That does not mean that Kalos is out of the question though... X and Y had a lot of parallels to G 1 from the Kanto starters, to the roaming bird legendaries among a few other things and since it takes place in the "Mega evolution Dimension" it is the G 1 of this dimension... Some people refer to the Sun as gold and the moon as silver... Sun/Moon will be the G 2 of this dimension and you will be able to go back to Kalos. Kalos and Kanto both start with a K. Coincidence? I think not. The new region will start with a J and will take place in Spain as that is close to Kalos's real world counterpart, had yellow fire trucks, and palm trees

No. It will be set in Hawaii, which is almost opposite to France on the real world globe.
You will be able to visit both.
It will have a moon dial.
When the new region is day, Kalos is in night.
The new region has its own 50% Zygarde.
After your 7th badge, you have to go back to Couriway Town and up to Terminus Cave to find the other 50% Zygarde.

ORAS were certainly not perfect, but if there's any aspect of them I hope carry over into Sun and Moon, it's how huge the region felt. After X&Y's linear hallway routes, it felt really refreshing to get gigantic explorable routes. They're way bigger than even their RSE versions and I'm grateful for it, because it feels more like an adventure than any Pokemon game that came before.
In what way are they bigger? Is there added content or does it just feel that way because of the switch to 3D?

The routes were enlarged. If the remake were tile for tile, the routes would still be bigger than X and Y but they wouldn't be /expansive/ like ORAS' were. Take the OP pic, route 114 for example. Running through that in the originals is way faster than running through it in the remakes because the craters and everything were made so much bigger.

They were just about the same size, the crater you posted is a one off that replaces a couple sets of stairs in the cliffs.
I hope we get a region like Johto, with lots of interconnectivity and options dungeons. But we'll probably get the same shit as Kalos because apparently Masuda thinks modern children are retarded.
The format is singles, 6v6 singles and I have the following Pkmn at my disposal: Mega Scizor, Azu, Heatran, Umbreon, Empoleon, Druddigon, Hitmonlee, Scyther, Mr.Mime, Ditto, Rotom-F and Magmortar.
My enemy has: Mega Steelix, Garchomp, Donphan, Servine, Breloom, Gourgeist, Aggron, Pyroar, Metagross, Ambipom, Torterra and Stoutland.
Any ideas on the best composition and movesets against the opponent?

With these, do you think that Pokemon Company is trying to make the anncounments to the world, rather than in Japan for exclusive info to certain stuff to prevent leaks or spoilers as like earlier games?
Because the way they handled the info makes me think that Pokemon company and Gamefreak are trying to show to everyone at the same time, without having to "spoiler" information along with making the release dates international for the games.

Of course their goal is to release info world wide, corocoro is usually just a summary of what they upload elsewhere, in terms of official release
The key is that it always leaked 1-2 days before the official trailers were made public, and Game Freak has a history of pretending leaks never happened.
