Lots of bans were handed out by the mods which is why it's so quiet here but it was really, really autistic for a while.

Let's talk about the potential legendary mascots of Pokemon Sun and Moon. Let's keep their names Solgaleo and Lunaala for this conversation.
What would be the gimmick behind Solgaleo and Luunala? What would their unique powers be? Would they have powers to control the Sun/Moon respectively? Or would that be too obvious? I suppose Solgaleo could take have the power of the sun and make weather conditions hotter. But we sort of already have a Pokemon that can do that, it's Groudon. And for Lunaala you could say that it could control the moon and... control...

I think that the ET is going to be some kind of pun on heliocentrism.

the reason thousand arrows and thousand waves arent out yet could be because they are solgaleo and lunaala's moves. A lion that uses arrows? whatever lunaala is that uses waves? its the moon pokemon so it would make sense.

How would you feel if Gen 7 pulls a G/S/C in that you can return to Kalos after finishing your new region?
It would still be gen 7 like they've been saying and allow Zygarde his needed closure.
The only argument I can see against this would be Nintendo needing to use a slightly more expensive 8GB card, they could literally just copy paste kalos and give it finishing touches.
Another 16 badge game would make up for 6th gen disappointment too.

As a region I like Kalos, Route 14 was really cool for example.
Too much effort for Game freak, even though it's not much at all.
What do you guys think of teams with overlapping types ingame? Do you avoid doing it at all costs? Or do you just grab whatever happens to catch your interests?

Not really, unless the roles that those same-type pokemon overlap as well. Like I probably wouldn't have Machamp and Conkeldur on the same team unless I was doing something specific with the way I built my team.
There are other times, though, when I just want to fill a party with a bunch of weirdo pokemon and pokemon I haven't necessarily used before. For those I'll usually overlook type overlap.
