I always get all of them for muh 100% complete game.
I think thy make sense, even though virtually everyone has access to the internet. But still, there are a couple of people out there who don't have that luxury, maybe because their 3DS won't connect to their router or for whatever other reason.

I stopped liking in-game trades when they stopped putting in rare Pokémon and did shit like the Haunter girl.
This confirms we have a second rival and that it isn't Lillie. From what we've seen, she isn't into battles, yet. If we have Rowlet, Hau would have Popplio. That means a second rival has Litten and that we battled them, otherwise there is no way we could have seen Litten yet. Moreover, based on the exp. bar shown in the treehouse demo, we should've battled at least two Pokemon because the EXP bar is too full for just a match-up vs. Popplio. However, we know this is before the festival because Pichu and many of the wild Pokemon aren't on the dex yet.
They definitely skipped a lot of what would be the beginning of the game, they state you met the guardian of that island as well. So there's definitely a lot that happened beforehand.

Don't get the point of the thread? It's somewhat based on competitive viability, but mostly based on availability of types.

With how large Unova's dex was, it did pretty well with most types. Bug definitely got the best of it, but I think ghosts and dark types were treated well too.

I'd move Fighting to cursed in Gen 1 instead of 2. Gen 1 was when Psychic types ruled supreme, Gengar was pretty popular and Fighting types have fuckall good moves.
Gen 2 introduced Dark and Steel, and set the stone for the rise of Fighting types. Machamp legit became more prominent due to Snorlax, Skarmory and Blissey.
How many Pokémon do you want in Pokémon SM + new Megas?
I want 139 new Pokémon and 12 new Megas.

I hope the people that are saying they'll riot if we get less than a 100 new Pokemon are bullshitting. Seriously, getting less than 80 would be fucking idiotic, but around 90 would probably be a good number. Getting more than that would be an added bonus, and besides, if the revealed designs are anything to go by then we can expect some good quality from the rest.
