Why didn't people treat mega evolutions as new designs? Do they only care for pokedex numbers? It's like discarding 1/3rd of gen 2's pokedex, which was already a low 100. They're also sure as hell more different to their predecessors compared to things like this.

I always used the hiker. I had a Ghetsis stint in late BW2, though. I imagine it makes me look like I don't know what I'm doing, but oh well.

Level scaling and the still awkward distribution of Pokemon. GTS kinda fixes the latter issue, it's a great game otherwise
Bad distribution (not of Johto pokemon but of types), Kanto is still a shadow of its former self

Sort of related to the spoiler, I'm having a lot of trouble thinking of a design for what to do for my fire starter. The grass and water are fine.
If it helps, the grass becomes Grass/Rock and water becomes Water/Steel
