Explorers of Sky: this is a bit hard but I like to believe that the 5 new starters (Vulpix, Eevee, Phanpy, Shinx and Riolu) are the main characters, mainly because the "Dimensional Scream" makes more sense for Shinx line and Riolu line.
Gates to Infinity: Pikachu and Oshawott as player/partner, mainly because the two animated trailers.
