It doesn't matter. You could literally pick Chikorita and Snivy and still beat the main game easily.
I'm going to use Bulbasaur and Mudkip for maximum coverage. Grass, Poison, Water, Ground is pretty decent.

Pikachu is pretty good with Thunderwave, Discharge, and Quick Attack.
Any other partner can go, but Bulbasaur is useful for status elements as well.

They already stated that trainer customization is a feature that will be unique to the Kalos region.

-3DS system version 10.3 is released. OoTHax and Ironhax need a payload update, re-download the starter kit from Smea's site. Otherwise, same thing as 10.2 as far as we know. Obviously update the payload before updating the console.
-Nintendo went full faggot and blocked any form of NNID login for people below 10.2, and 10.2 will likely die next. That means no eShop spoof (unless you don't have a NNID attached to it), no Miiverse and not even Pokémon Shuffle check-ins from people on <=10.1.

Varies on the amount. If you sell a single Pokemon for a total of $2, they take ~30 cents. If the buyer purchases 5 Pokemon in one transaction for a total of $10, it's around 40 cents you'll lose. Doesn't seem to be any real consistency. My sales figures that I posted in the last thread are after all transaction/listing fees.
