Does anyone else hate the new starters?
We already have several cat pokemon, an owl, and a seal. Such a missed opportunity for better pokemon. Like a dolphin water starter would be nice but no they had to give us that retard.
Only one I really dislike is Litten, he looks like a Yokai, the rest are top tier.

We've had multiple of a lot of popular animals. Guess what! You can take the same animal and go different directions with it to get completely different pokemon. I think the starters are the best we've gotten in a while actually.
A dolphin is a bad choice for a starter since it can't move on land, and Poppolio is amazing.

for natures and IVs. standard stuff. most people keep going till its perfect, but i just keep going till i get something half decent because i enjoy showering regularly.
For IVs and Natures. I personally couldn't give a fuck less what I get, I'll just edit it in PKHeX anyway.

It seems that the islands will be named after the colors most associated with the main islands of Hawaii, we already know about Melemele which is the color most associated with Oahu, so the others are likely Poni (purple) which is most associated with Kauai which the legendary island is based on, 'Ākala (pink) which is most associated with Maui and is possibly the island with the volcano, and finally 'Ula'ula (red) which is most associated with Hawaii island and is the island with the ice mountain....

But Kukui's hat does have the Gen 1 colors, you'd think his rainbow hat consists of the four island's colors, so that rainbow would be the symbol of the Alola region.

Although it makes things a tad easier for managing evs, FUCK SUPER TRAINING. These mini-games and reset-bag fishing pisses me off. I really hope that's something they improve on in gen VII

Yeah, the only thing it's really good for is reset bags and maybe grabbing that last +4 for an EV spread. If they just kept the reset bag mechanics and removed Super Training, I wouldn't mind at all.
Super training is just a tutorial for EV's, to train effectively you got to hoard train, but the game will never tell you that, becausethere's no reason, GF is that stupid
