What if there's a legendary trio of snakes?
Poison/Rock Basilisk, has an ability that makes paralyzed foes take damage every turn, like slowly turning them to stone
Poison/Water Jormungandr, knows a lot of Ice type moves too, speedy and hits hard.
Poison/Dark Satanic garden of Eden snake, has an ability that forces the foe to eat whatever Berry it's holding. Bulkiest of the three, learns a lot of weird and tricky moves like Switcheroo, Taunt, Torment, and Heart Swap.
All have 580 BST.
There, 3 theoretical legendary poison types on about the same power level as Kanto's birds. Which means one is good, one is okay, and one kinda sucks.

none. priority is a flawed system that undermines the speed stat in a way which is overly powerful and redundant. they need to switch priority stages to align with stages of speed boosts so that it works with the speed stat instead of being a parallel method of achieving the same result.
