In this thread, discuss what you want to see added or removed from Pokémon in the upcoming games, Sun & Moon.
Try to keep it civil, and discuss your ideas reasonably.

Easy Mode.
And by that, I simply mean, rather than making the games in general easier (cough-Gen 6-cough), make them about as hard as Gen 4 and 5 were. Not too challenging for seasoned players, but with a reasonable difficulty curve, and a challenging Champion battle.
Then, give Easy Mode as an option for the kids/Mobile audience that they talked abut in regards to dumbing down Gen 6.
That way, regular/older players get their actual Pokémon games, and the retards in the fanbase can fly through on Easy Mode.
Then, instead of a Hard Mode (People have done self-imposed challenges for years, so no need to waste time on an actual Hard Mode) just make the Post Game actually challenging. Give us something like White Tree Hollow/ Black City Tower again.
All IV's should be defaulted to 15 when playing online, no matter what.
There, I just solved the problem. GF still gets their "every Pokémon is unique" during the main game, and players can battle online without feeling hindered by imperfect Pokémon, having to waste hours to solve that, or cheating.
This would even work fine with transferred Pokémon from Gen 1.
I would really like to hear why this wouldn't be a perfect solution for literally every type of player, and Game Freak themselves. Because it sounds perfect to me.
What was /v/'s reaction to Klink? I strangely love this line but still it feels like the line was made purely for hate fuel.

I love it, although Klang feels like Dex filler. Wish it had more moves (mainly Earthquake) and different non-hidden abilities.
The line was probably made just for the sake of showing off the animated sprites.

Fairy type is fine, they should just remove Grass type.

I'm always confused when I hear people hating on BW1 or saying one should skip it and go straight to BW2. This isn't about opinions, or about genwars. I'm curious as to what this game does wrong in your eyes that made you enjoy Platinum and HGSS.

Y'know, I was actually excited to try contests again after so long. Then this lady shows up and "scouts" me. Confronts me in front of a crowd and announces to the world to "expect great things from this trainer" and "remember this name".
So if I hit it big, she's right, and I never made a name for myself, and if I fail, everyone knows my shame.
I'm really not trying to be contrarian, this just left a really sour taste in my mouth. I later went in to see if I could get free shit from NPC's without entering and then she gives (forces) the contest clothing on you, like... am I not allowed to have any agency here? It feels like you're being groomed for something, and I hate the pressure it heaps on.

I thought they were such a big deal at the time, but now I'm thinking it would have been better to just stick with motionless sprites. Or at least sprites that just moved when attacking, like Dragon Quest III on SNES.

The worst thing about cross-gen evos is they always need some new stupid way to evolve them so it's consistent with previous gens when in reality we wouldn't care if something evolves by level even though it didn't before.

Doubt it, according to the official timeline his amnesia would have been at the earliest time in the series since RSE/ORAS takes place at the same time as RGBY/FRLG, so by the time we first met him in Platinum he would have had his memory back completely. There's no doubt though that we'll see him again in Sun and Moon since we've seen him in every generation since 4, but I wouldn't expect anything more about his amnesia.

I've been meaning to replay the series and the upcoming release of gen 7 is the perfect opportunity. However, I don't know where to start. What order would you suggest?
