How to progress in PTCGO, tl;dr edition:
>complete all Trainer Challenges (Cheat Engine's speedhack strongly recommended to speed up AI games)
>unlock all locked cards in the three theme decks you're given at the start
>farm Versus Mode theme ladder for Tokens and Tournament Tickets
>enter standard/expanded ticket tournaments and accept that you'll lose
>you'll get tradable tournament chests and sometimes a tradable pack
>DON'T OPEN THEM
>use the Trade section to trade the packs and chests for the shit you need

Your physical cards probably aren't worth shit, but check sites like Trollandtoad, eBay and TCGplayer for the shinier ones to see if you can make a decent 5-10 bucks off them before you ask in the thread. We don't have the prices memorized for every single card.
To see what your PTCGO stuff is worth, look on the PTCGO forums in the trading section. For example, Top Cut Trading inc

Pack codes are worth about 15-30 cents while other codes are worth around a dollar or two.

To help stem gen warfare on /vp/, I shall be posting Fucking Top Notch and Not So Hot designs by generation, proving that each gen has tons of great shit, and all should be appreciated.
Rules:
-Fully evolved designs are the only ones judged, though they MAY be judged in relation to their prevos. Example: Poliwrath, which is a pretty okay design as a standalone, but a fucking lazy piece of shit when keeping Poliwhirl in mind.
-No legendaries. I don't personally use them them, and I don't particularly care what they look like.

I've been using the 5 trainers you can rematch on Battle Resort to level up some Pokemon for dex entries, but for some reason I couldn't rematch them yesterday or today.

I did this a few days ago because of shitty daylights saving time. This was my first thought too, but it's been longer than 24 hours since I changed the time.
I managed to find some stuff on google. Apparently it takes several days for the internal clock to adapt to the change of time.
Stats:
>all fully evolved pokemon gets at least 500 BST
>all megas have 600 BST
>all fully evolved pokemon (including legends) have a maximum of 560 BST
Abilities:
>Parental Bond reduced to 25% extra damage
> -iate damage boost removed
>Huge/Pure Power reduced to 50%
>Prankster only gives priority to STAB status moves
>Protean reduces damage dealt by 20%
>flying type moves reduced by 30% when paired with Gale Wings
Moves:
>when transfered, all moves not learned by hatching or leveling up are removed
Types:
>grass resists fairy
>ice resists water
>fire no longer resists fairy
>fairy weak to grass
>fairy no longer resists bug
>steel resists dark and ghost

Limiting BST is too restrictive. M-Sableye is one of the best Pokemon yet it doesn't even have a 500 BST.

Fairy and grass are very similar in style it should stay neutral.

Fire resists fairy magic, it's only fair to have an additional resistance as fire type. Fairy is already good.

Keep it as it is, steel gained super effectiveness against fairy and those resistances didn't make sense. Besides, steel is already reliable with the many resistances that it has.
The first thing that needs to happen is a base stats rebalancing so there will be less need for overpowered/gimmick abilities to make low stats Pokemon viable. This will have the biggest impact on the gameplay before changing anything else.
