Most recent I can think of is the Water Elite Four member on x/y that god damn Mega Gyarados ate Thunderbolts for days and wiped me 3 times.

Actually it may have been oras.
Fucking Kyogre in every game where they decide to give him Aqua Ring. There's no way to get rid of it once he uses it. All you can do is prevent him from using it with Taunt. You can't get him down to 1 HP because he passively heals at the end of every time. Every time you miss a ball, he just passively heals more.
Fuck Kyogre.

We have started our eevee collection and have 28 of a currently unknown number. Our goal its to collect all of the eevee's including language vairents, holo/nonholo, edition, and what ever other variation of this excluding the eveelutions (maybe one day but we want to start small).
I havent opened a pack of cards since gen 1 was still in stores. The reverse holographic and japanese first edition cards are throwing me off.
What was the last english expansion to have first editions? First and last japanese sets to have first editions? When did reverse holos first start? Did every set after have reverse holos? Are there japanese reverse holos?
Who knows anyone with a sample set eevee?
Do any of you all have dupes you would care to donate/sell to the cause?
I am suprised how difficult it has been to come by decent pictures of the varients, namley the japanese press conference sample set eevee. The only picture I have seen is the blurry one on bulbapedia and havent seen one for sale.

Do you know very much about the expansions with reverse holos?
Why don't we have more combo moves like the Grass/Fire/Water pledge moves having a field effect when combined?
It would make doubles and triples a lot more interesting, it would maybe give some use to some of the moves with low BP and it'd make VGC a lot more varied.
GF is too lazy to make their own official format more interesting.

I dunno, they usually come off as gimmicky because... they are.
You could technically count things like Helping Hand + Attack or Beat Up + Justified as combos too, and they're usually more creative that way anyways.
