Friend went to Target and brought back some pizza for me and told me he got a free Pokemon card which he also gave to me. It was image related.
Is Target giving out free Pokemon cards a common thing or was there some kind of event going on? It was holographic and even individually wrapped in clear plastic which is nice for collecters I guess.

why are Pokemon OCs looked down on and called autistic? Is it just residue from autistic self-inserts in other fandoms? Is it the insert-into-the-world-and-story part of it? escapism?
The games are made so that the MC is you, the PKMN team you train is yours and "your friends," "your journey." It's only natural to create a little closer avatar to yourself. Personally I love well-done drawings of a trainer and their team.

following, not every pokemon can be ridden, and mounted pokemon would fuck up the flow of routes completely.
The only thing that could end up working would be pokemon racing and even that would end up being a gimmick for one gen that noone liked
