Anyone else just not really feeling the artwork? Like they said they were going back to Gen 1 simplicity but Litten is the only thing that yells that to me. I'm gonna have to go with Litten this time. I've only ever started with grass or water for the first play through.

Also tfw /vp/ designs better grass/flying starters than Gamefreak. Pokemon Sage has a god-tier grass starter. I predict Rowlet will evolve into like your stereotypical fat hawaiian guy evo. He'll be a bro for sure and he'll kinda be reminiscent of Ludicolo, I suppose.

At last they kind of struck a middle ground detail wise, this new gen looks like fucking nothing. Although that has pretty much been true since gen 2. I don't know what changed to be honest, most people agree gen 1's looked better regardless of wether they enjoyed that gen more (Hint, no one enjoyed the games) so I dont know what they can do, maybe wind back the proportions a bit and make them more animalistic
