Why they still use Team Rocket in the anime?
See, I get that they want to keep Ash and Pikachu, sounds kinda reasonable at least, and I also get that they want a "low tier villains" for something to happen every episode, even if it's the same fucking thing.
But why they couldn't come up with others persistent villains? A new group that would still annoy Ash and co everytime. Ash changed of companions in many seasons, they could do the same with the Team Rocket.
Why is it that team rocket never get carried away by a paddy wagon, never have to face the court system and never go to jail despite being the most hopeless criminals you can imagine?

Is the Pokémon TCG power creeping in the new generations? For example:

Okay, no downside effect and it's worth two cards. Keep in mind however that other TCGs such as Yugioh already banned cards like this. (Pot of Greed)

Okay, you get an additional card but now there is a drawback: if you fail the coin toss you get nothing.

Another example:
Potion: Heal 20 hp
Okay, it's fair: one card for a heal.
Super Potion: Discard an energy card attached, heal 40 hp
It's heal more but has a drawback.
Pokémon Center Lady: Heal 60 hp and all status ailments.

Are you aware of what a Supporter card is?
Read what cards do before declaring power creep.
For what it's worth, cards are actually way better these days, but it's more that the Pokemon have way more HP, damage and powerful effects. The Trainer cards are the same or worse, mostly.
Tierno is a supporter card, which you can only play one of its kind perusal turn. So you can't play more than one tierno and it locks you out of cards like Pokémon centre lady for that turn too. You could play as many bills as you liked.
Pokémon have more hp on average and do more damage in the current meta, so old cards can't keep up, but the higher numbers allows for better balance.

Its been so long since there's been a new "main-line" pokemon game, what incentive would there be to buy the next pokemon game if its just a "Z" version with no new pokemon? Even if a new game was announced tomorrow it would be another 6 months at a minimum until the game was release. With that said, If they make a "Z" version I hope there are at least a handful of new pokemon since X and Y were so scarce in that department.

You may not mentally accept it since this gen amount is low, but people fail to realize that new amount of pokemon is low because they keep on excluding the number of Mega evolutions that were also introduced. Add both together and it becomes an average amount. Creating them requires some, if not just as much effort as making a new pokemon altogether. Yes they they look similar in appearance but the very same thing can be said with regular evolutions, which are classified as new pokemon.
So unless you are just baiting captain autismo style here, please try not to forget that fact.
