Post your ideas for interesting new moves you'd like to see in SM.
This is one I had recently:
Shrink Ray
The target is treated as though they had just used Minimize - their evasiveness increases and attacks like Flying Press, Body Slam, and Phantom Force do double damage and can't miss.
Minimize is an interesting pseudo-status, but never gets used because of evasion clause. With this, there's actually a semi-good reason to minimize your opponent's mons in double battles. 200 BP, never-miss Dragon Rushes would be a thing to fear (Dragon Rush also has a nifty 20% flinch chance, so it's really no joke), while 170 BP Body Slams and 160 BP Flying Presses are nothing to laugh at, either.

So you can have a 170*1.3 = 221 BP Flying-type move with a 30% para chance, can't ever miss, and has no drawbacks.
I think that's a little better than a Helping Hand boost. Particularly good on M-Mence because it also has Dragon Rush.

Ok so I was thinking about the QR code function of the rotom dex, and I was wondering what the point was. If everyone will eventually find every pokemon in the game anyway, then why worry about using qr codes to fill a friend's dex?
Then I had a thought.
In Animal Crossing, each world has a set of items that appear. Your game randomly selects between three of these sets when the world is created, and in order to get everything you have to go to other people's games.
What if Gamefreak is doing a similar thing with wild pokemon in Sun and Moon? With over 800 pokemon, it'd be difficult fitting all of them into the islands. What if, in addition to version exclusives, Gamefreak has certain pokemon that appear exclusively in save files, and in order to find the others in your game, you have to scan the qr code?
For example, say player A is playing Sun and finds a Pansage. He would not normally be able to find Pansear or Panpour. But players B (Moon) and C (Sun) can find them, respectively, so by sharing QR codes, the others become findable in game (possibly replacing Pansage?).

What happened to make them so fucking evil? Usually the anime and the games make a point that Pokemon go bad because they have bad/abusive trainers, but these guys were acting of their own accord.
in my mind, malamar would make a perfect villain for a pokemon fantasy action adventure game, hypnotizing otherwise peaceful pokemon into going crazy and violent
