Afaik the only megas you can get before postgame are the Kanto starter, Lucario, Abomasnow, Aerodactyl, Ampharos, and Gengar

Galvantula and sticky web. Compound eyes thunder also gets me a nice sweep if i'm lucky
Archeops in AG. Taunt, pebbles, and Endeavor. Aerodactyl is faster but doesn't have Endeavor or Head Smash, so I like using Archeops more.
