We've all seen that art of the original 1st gym leader (most likely a Bug leader IMO) that Sugimori tweeted. We know GF probably changes stuff a lot...what are your theories on things that were meant to be?
For example, I believe Dragon and Ghost weren't meant to exist in RGBY, with Gengar and Dragonite lines being Poison and Flying respectively. This is backed up by the point that 1- both those lines are the only ones to exist of their type and 2- their type specialists (Agatha and Lance) actually use all-Poison and all-Flying respectively. I think they were put in at the last minute, most likely to help counter Psychic.
