What's with the hate for these games? I'm on my 4th play through now. That's more than any other game in the series besides Gold and Silver. This is pretty much the Pokémon game I always wanted back then.
Trainer customization, amie, 3D graphics, cool story. I mean, you can get almost every Pokémon in this game. It's awesome! ORAS were a step back. Oh, and mega evolutions are basically the old Pokegod rumors come true.
Every Pokémon game from now on should have as many pokemon as XY. Or at least pull a BW and have only new ones. The only thing I want now is to expand Secret Bases into something like animal crossing where you make your own gym. It'd be like the perfect game...

Funny ypu mention that since that's exactly how they are in ORAS.
Hopefully they will make a game some day with ALL of the things people like.
My only problems are
>3d models for the characters look way too stiff
>story felt rushed for some reason
>characters are forgettable only unless they were annoying
>E4 and champion weren't even mildly challenging
>music is too boring, though that's just my own problem

Other than stuffing his pants in his shoes, I'd say what makes him great is that he looks normal. Doesn't have anything too outlandish or silly, no weird hair cuts or anything like that. There is also that very confident look about him that says he'll fuck your shit up in a pokemon battle.

Just won Sinnoh's league for the first time with this team you guys gave me. Uroboros basically did everything by himself by dragon dancing and hitting hard, so thanks to that anon who was determined to make my team have all the splashers available. It was fun, I'm still missing BW and BW2 so I'll ask you for a new team once I'm done with postgame.
