This competition is a Triple Battle competition and runs some rather unique rules. To tie in with the Christmas theme, you can only use Pokémon that are categorised in the Pokédex as being Red, Green or White. You cannot use Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Groudon, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Dialga, Shaymin, Reshiram, Meloetta, Yveltal or Zygarde in this competition. All participants will receive a special Delibird. This Delibird has the moves Present and Happy Hour and holds the Relic Gold item

Here's what I don't understand senpai: We as pokemon fans have at very least come the consensus that while Pokemon the Series has great potential, Gamefreak always comes up short in one way or another. So my question is, why not just make a perfect game? We know what we like and what's lacking. Just make a game without an outlandish story, with a couple of interesting characters, and couple of nice aesthetic features and a solid postgame. Any game designers out there wondering the same thing? All this being said, what roms come the closest to delivering the best pokemon experience. I think HGSS would probably take the cake in the main series.
I also wanna hear what people want out of pokemon that they feel is lacking

I've never seen Torterra used in battle past his debut gen, and even among the starters that are competitively useless some like Delphox and Emboar have found their niche as pokepornstars. Nobody fights with Torterra and nobody spanks it to Torterra.

Nah,liking the Chikorita line is true sufferingoutside of Gen 2
Definitely the best Sinnoh starter aesthetically. Its learnset is garbage though and having a few prominent weaknesses while being slow with little offensive output make it unviable in competition.
