I'm a gym leader, my job is to make sure that my opponent is strong enough to continue on. If they get me down to my last mon, I'm not gonna pull some "clutch" mon out, I'm gonna use another mon that's not so different and, most likely, lose and hand them their badge. Because that's my job.

Anyone snobs go to this last weekend in St. Louis? Enjoyed myself despite the amount of actual artists I encountered reminding me of the fanbase I'm currently a part of. from my time looking around the series/fandom, not really. Honestly the only ones that get pokemon comparisons would be the baby digimon (those stages before rookies) and even then once they digivolve the comparison gets thrown out.
I'm planning on playing through a bunch of Pokemon games to hold me off until SM, currently I'm playing through fire red but I can't decide what to play next hgss, platinum or black1+2 what should I pick?

I decided to do the same. So I bough yellow on the VC. SS, and Pt.
I played through yellow, SS, OR, Pt and currently playing black 1. Gonna buy white 2 and once I'm done with that gonna restart Y
In the new games, but unlike the mistake that it was in Gen 5, have it be unlocked from the very start. Something like: casual, normal, intense. The more difficult settings would see more Pokemon with items and fuller teams on trainers.
Just a thought to mix things up.
