How do we get rid of HM slaving?
Don't get me wrong, I like HMs; they feel cool and add some nice progression to the game. But the process of using them later on becomes such a fucking hassle. You get more HMs than a single Pokemon can learn, HM slaves take up slots in your party for actual party members, or HM moves take up slots on your pokemon for actual moves you want them to learn. Very few HMs (Surf, Fly) even make a passing grade for decent moves in a casual playthrough, with others (like whirlpool) just being trash, only useful for the HM effect.
How do we fix HMs without getting rid of them or creating more questions? For example, having non-combat Pokemon to use as HM slaves would be a solution, but then would beg the question of why you couldn't send them out into battle if all your other Pokemon fainted

Those were the only games where I could do a proper challange run since there were no HMs whatsoever.

How do you feel about Rock Smash? I like that it's fighting, and there's treasures now. Cut and Strength are both normal but you might never go to the places you use them for more than once, and Strength is powerful.

All of these are rock types because:
a. Only rock types leave bones strong enough to be fossilized
b. They "acquired" the rock type as a side effect from the resurrection
c. None of the above.

Instead of coming up with fake Sun/Moon leaks for April fools, how about spending the rest of today on some good old fashioned predictions/hopes?
Here, I'll start:
Sun legendary is a Fire type tiger, Moon legendary is a Psychic type wolf.
Fire starter is a donkey, becomes bipedal and gains Steel type on evolution.
Grass starter is a fawn, evolves into a big Grass/Dark moose.
Water starter is a kappa, has a secondary Fairy typing from the first stage.
