>has the same graphics/aesthetic as XY/ORAS in both battles and overworld
>can battle and trade with XY and ORAS as long as you take new megas/Pokemon out of your party
>doesn't change any of the battle mechanics from XY and ORAS
>still uses the same pentagon system like XY and ORAS
>has the whole PSS/amie/super training system on the bottom screen like XY and ORAS
>has 50 new Pokemon in Hawaii inspired region
>has a Zygarde subplot

These will ultimately seal Sun and Moon as Gen 6. Gen 7 can still use/carry over the PSS and other features. But using common sense and not grasping straws, it's a safe bet that these are Gen 7

Then start a spin off series that takes part in an alternative universe after gen2.

Yesterday was the Krookodile line, today will be about the fire apes Darumaka and Darmanitan.
My thoughts: Another Gen 5 favorite, and arguably this Gen's Bro-mon. I admit though, I only used Darmanitan once before replacing it for another fire type. Not to say it was bad, but in that Gen I preferred to use another more special oriented fire type. Design wise, the line looks fine. Of course, Darumaka is cute, and Darmanitan with dat rape face about to wreck shit. Also, Darumaka has a pretty funny dex entry, being something about its shit being so warm that people stuff it down their clothes to feel better during cold season....heh.
Concept wise they're pretty creative. They're based off daruma dolls, combined with the physical appearance of an orangutan(Darmanitan=Daruma+Orangutan). They might also incorporate the concept of Zen or yoga, as shown in Darmanitan's Zen mode.
Overall, a pretty cool Pokemon. With its fun design, great usability, and interesting concept, it's no surprise these Pokémon are one of the better memorable ones from Gen 5.

That'd be way too many people to keep track of. They'd have to tailor each and every episode to accommodate for that huge main cast
It'd be better if Ash just got the gym leaders' phone numbers or they'd show up every once in a while to help solve an episode's conflict.
