Guys, I'm confused.
Back when I played Red and LeafGreen verisons, the legendaries were hard AF to catch. These versions made me get the mon to very low health and with any status like paralysis or sleep to try to even catch it. Even then, I wasted at least 50 ultra balls before I even caught it.
However, in the 3DS version of Yellow, I caught Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and even Mewtwo without much effort.
It took at max 3 ultra balls after paralysis or sleep to catch any of them. Even with MAX health.
Did they change the catch rates to those of X&Y? Or was I just very very very lucky?

To confirm the catch rates are still bullshit go the the safari zone.

Learn the gen I mechanics, HP decrease doesn't matter all that much when catching pokémon with low catch rates, however status like Sleep and Frozen are completely broken.
When will the meme of Gen V having bad Pokemon designs die? It literally has no more bad designs than any other gen, if not fewer. I'm not even a Unovabortion, it's one of my least favorite gens for other reasons, but the designs are great. Name all your favorite mons and at least one is from Unova, I bet you.
Klink line and Emboar are the only bad ones

That's a possibility with alternate timelines being confirmed. I definitely do see Megas not being apart of the game in the future due the negative response it has gotten. What will happen to the mega forms you ask? Simple anons; they'll be branched evolutions/alternate evolutions.

You can get every Evolutionary Stone through Super Training, it can be a bit frustrating but it's the easiest way to get them.

You can get unlimited evolution stones by playing the higher levels of Super Training. You won't always win one, but they're not that uncommon.
You can also get them from beating the Inverse Battle guy at Mauville, but the prize depends on your number of super effective attacks, and which stone you get is up to chance.

Someone please help me with a team building question. So I'm making my first competitive team and I'd like to know A. what you think and B. What remaining two pokes I should use.
So far I have:
Dragonite (tank)
Mega Blaziken (phys sweeper)
Espeon (sp sweeper)
Skarmory (defensive wall)
Any Ideas or suggestions?
I don't know how seriously the Tiers are taken and frankly I'm new to taking pokemon seriously, like competitive battling and such.
From what I've read on team building (and correct me if Im wrong)
I need a Sp sweeper/ phys sweeper/ phys wall/ sp wall/ tank and then a battlefield setup like a Gliscor with spikes or something.
I don't really know and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

the Unown should get a second ability that makes them more powerful depending on how many are on your team. Every letter should have a different ability that affects all other Unowns.
For example, A would boost all special attack for your unowns, L would give them all ground immunity, S gives them all sturdy, B adds a burn chance to Hidden Power, etc.
Essentially you're running a Sliver deck from Magic the Gathering in Pokémon
