Is Snorlax still a badass? Me and my friends used to have him in our teams but now I don't see people ever mentioning his name again. I'm not a fan of Normal-types but Snorlax was always my favorite of the bunch.

Why dont people realise that the realistic looking feathers, talons and colours for stage one birds that Gen 1 has are the exception, not the rule?
Because it's not as simple as "they're the exception" when they're the very first iteration that set the standard the rest of them deviated from. If for instance, gen IV birds were the odd one out that would be a simple exception, but here we see the quality of the regional bird steadily decline over time.
