How good is Pokemon Picross, both as a freemium game and a Picross game? I heard the freemium part of the game is one of the worst ever, but I wanted to know /vp/s opinions.

That's just people exaggerating.
Essentially, it's free-to-start, which is what Nintendo call their F2P games. You can get through it without paying anything, but it'll be difficult and require grinding. You can pay and it'll be very useful and will allow you to remove the "freemium" elements, with an upper spending limit of like $30.

Really, you don't even need to buy anything.
When you download the game and get through the tutorial area, don't go spending picrites on everything you can.
To get the most without spending anything until you feel like you want to, here's what you should do:
- Upgrade to have 3 pokemon in your party for puzzle bonuses
- Unpgrade your energy to 200 so that at minimum you can at least do a puzzle a day
- Do daily training for more picrites
Ideally, this game should become a daily, like badge arcade or mii plaza (if you ever go outside)

Hey guys, I just got a cheap $50 3DS and I'm wondering which game to get, Y or Omega Ruby?
I'm only really planning on playing 1 game on the 3DS. Should it even be one of the Gen 6 games? If it helps, I like collecting Pokemon like an autist/gearing out characters so which game would be better for that?
If you only want to do ingame stuff, I'd go for X/Y. It's more fun to play and looks better than OR/AS, in my opinion. If you want to battle with people post-game, I'd rather get OR/AS because it has all mega stones and is compatible with both OR/AS and X/Y.

Do you prefer collecting legendaries or regular Pokémon? X/Y has about 450 in their regional dex but only 4 legendaries are catchable in either X or Y. OR/AS on the other hand is loaded with legendaries. Theoretically all legendaries available that aren't in X/Y.

How do the games stack up next to each other in the music/story departments? I never finished the GBA games, but I remember there being a frontier or something for the postgame? Which game is longer?

Grass Pokemon are some of the best designed in the series but are nigh impossible to use save for a select few. How do we fix grass type, /vp/?
Just make better Grass types. We know Game Freak can make really good Grass mons already, just make more that reap the benefits.

this is common thing though,like how Psychics and normal types all learn things like shadow ball/claw/sneak. Things have been improving for grass types while ice has nothing and will forever get nothing

On my first playthrough of Sapphire, I absolutely thought he was actually a girl.
